If he really had wise positions, I could forgive the attitude more easily. But his foreign policy suggestions are disastrous, and his conspiracy theories absurd. I remember when the Republican Party believed that character mattered, and when it also believed that a strong America on the world scene was a prerequisite for global stability. Much of today's GOP is a combination of 1980s Bernie Sanders-like policy prescriptions mixed with Bill Clinton-like character issues. And we are supposed to be the party that saves this country from the left. God help us.
