The reason the media was able to get away with their outrageous "reporting" and not have the political center turn against them is because of the disgust that rational people have for Trump and his antics. If we had an adult as president, someone like a Jeb Bush or perhaps even a Marco Rubio, the center would have been repulsed by the anti-American thugs and their leftist supporters in the media and Democrat Party, and the GOP could have had a landslide victory. That's kind of what happened in 1972. But 80m people voted against Trump, even though none of them actually like Biden. There is no one who actually likes Biden.
