  7. The easiest way to prevent this would have been for her to act responsibly. She was not three years old: At 19, she was a year past the age where she could have joined the Marines. She was the number cause of her demise here.

  8.  @aloeup2121  I 100% agree with your comment. She clearly said - repeatedly - that she was unaware of the concept of "false confession". Which sounds extremely strange to our ears, except...we follow true crime, and she probably never did, plus as a young cop she likely never did any investigating either.

It usually goes together with pre-marital relationships. For those with appropriate values, there is nothing wrong with people living at home (and remaining chaste) until marriage.

One of the three comments shown has him (I assume it's him, not her) calling two show co-hosts "hens", for no obvious reason outside of their being female. It doesn't look good, I agree with that.

She is a doctor, for crying out loud, and stayed with a man who routinely endangered their children by leaving them in the sauna that is a car in Arizona while he played video games in his air conditioned home. She should have never stayed with him knowing that he was a threat to the children's safety, and to very lives. I'm still unclear, though, if he was "merely" guilty of outrageously reckless behavior, or if he actually intended to end his daughter's life. Either way he is vile, but his wife is not free of moral guilt either.

  33.  @GTNover  Thank you for some proper perspective, well put. Hiding in fear because there are true crime stories online makes no sense. And particularly when the crime in question was committed by someone directly connected to the victim, meaning it has no impact on the general public. Had this been a random crime by a serial criminal, your comment would still be totally on point. Because this was intimate partner crime - which is the dominant type of violent crime, of course - the fear expressed by certain others makes absolutely no sense whatsoever.
