@namename6797 BS! tRump set it all up and left the Afghan government without the means to defend itself, just to dump it all on Biden. The agreement was that the US military would allow the Taliban to control everything, except for the cities, until a 5/1/2021 US troop withdrawal, which would be Biden's problem to execute.
tRump unleashed 5,000 ISIS, Al Qaeda, and Taliban leaders from a Pakistani prison for terrorists. They had a whole year to organize their coup without US obstruction.
The Afghan Security Forces had no ammo to defend themselves against the Taliban forces, so they simply defected, as soon as our troops evacuated from Bagram airbase.
The Afghan government officials knew that the inevitable was happening and suggested destroying documents.
The Afghan government didn't have a chance, regardless of who was in charge.
tRump set the trap for both the Afghan government and President Biden, then relished in his own created mayhem.
He's responsible for the entire mess. Biden was his fall-guy whose hand was forced to make all the tough decisions. Yet, no one could have done a better, more responsible job.

@mndsph4530 At 69 years of age, I must disagree. Most young people are overly confident, too idealistic, and motivated by narcissism. They're focused upon proving who they are, without much empathy nor sympathy for others. So how can they be qualified to serve the needs of others?
The 'new blood' GQP Freedom Caucus in the US Congress only want to create chaos and dysfunction, instead of adhering to the righteous vision of our Founding Fathers and their Constitution, which is what has made America great to begin with.
I grew up during the '60s hippy generation of rebellion and enlightenment. I still hold on to those youthful values. But, I'm old enough to understand that parents need to have dependable jobs and homes to support their families.
I support President Biden's administration, because they are pushing the most progressive anti-climate change policies, education for job skills, and basing their decisions upon scientific facts, not blind faith.
Yes, change is life's only constant and time never stands still. So it is only proper for young people to hold previous generations accountable and correct their mistakes, especially regarding corruption.
But, with age comes wisdom and the need to leave behind a worthy legacy. Old folks have already been there and have experienced setbacks, obstacles, and failures that the youth never even consider nor could imagine. Why should the youth always need to learn these things the hard way?
What could be more ideal than allowing wisdom to guide youthful energy along the proper path? By working together, no mountain is too great to overcome and no river is too wide to cross.

People are dying because of 1/2 a century worth of such willful ignorance. /smh
"You ain't seen nuttin', yet."
Future generations will suffer heat, drought, crop failures, hunger, famine, wildfires, super storms, ...
But, apparently you don't have children and won't be around to suffer their fate.
No doubt, you're defending being the owner of a gas guzzler, complaining about high gas prices.

Yes! Thank you. First this program shows a poll among 'those who disapprove of Biden's performance', w/o revealing how the approvers poll. Then, she interviews a GOP governor, so that he can get his licks in. Then, it's skyrocketing COVID cases, instead of the reduction of deaths from 7.8 per 100K to 0.13. That's a HUGE success story that none of the news networks ever mention.
Then they HAD to remind everyone of one bad day of evacuating 125,000 civilians in the middle of a terrorist infested coup. 23 US troops were blown up by one suicide bomber, after being warned of an imminent attack on Abbey Gate, but they stood their posts to allow British troops to escort their citizens inside.
By comparison, on average, 1,800 US citizens are murdered by guns EVERY 3 WEEKS in their own neighborhoods.
Besides, tRump set up the Afghan trap for Biden to take the fall, after he freed 5000 Taliban, ISIS, and Al Qaeda leaders from a Pakistani prison, just as long as they didn't attack our troops during the 2020 election runup.

Bush was too busy reading nursery rhymes at a kindergarten. When informed, he froze, not knowing how to respond.
So, he invented WMDs, attacked Iraq, started 20 years' worth of Middle East wars, failed to get Bin Laden, and couldn't handle the Wall Street collapse, families losing their homes to pay medical bills, nor save the auto industry, which Romney said, "Let it fail."
Obama/Biden picked up the pieces, killed bin Laden, saved America's auto industry, then gave US ACA.
Moscow Mitch & the GQP have made every effort to sabotage our healthcare. tRump added 25% to our national debt, reneged on JPCOA (Iran has resumed weapons grade enrichment of Uranium), and single-handedly gave Afghanistan back to the Taliban.
"Republicans don't know how to drive. Every time they get the helm, they head US straight intothe gtter." President Barack Obama.

@janetdotson7829 Thank you for explaining and I get that. But, shouldn't that be their answer, instead of shying away from what everyone is waiting on bated breath to hear?
It's the avoidance that tRumptards pick up on to say, "You see? They're not going to prosecute tRump. If he was a criminal, then they would have arrested him by now."
Meanwhile, the midterms clock is winding down and tRump's loyalists are already lined up. Republican states have rigged their election laws to be able to discard ballots virtually on a whim.
Dems need to get their messaging happening and tRump needs to be indicted within the next few weeks or we'll find ourselves being subjected to Q-nut right wing ideological authoritarianism while inflicting unimaginable suffering upon future generations.
Not that I'm some kind of fear monger, or anything like that. I simply believe in scientific data from a bunch of highly educated folks, with letters behind their names & all. They're not concerned with politics, in the least. Simply dedicated their lives to studying the mundane for a better understanding of nature.
Anyway, I'm probably preaching to the choir, JS.

By all means, let's remind voters about the 1st day of chaos during the Afghan 'withdrawal', which was played on a continuous news loop for over a year, without mentioning that it was tRump who betrayed the blood of our troops, wasted 20 years worth ($Trillions) of taxpayer funding, freed 5,000 Al Qaeda, ISIS, and Taliban terrorists from the Pakistani prison, secretly promised that they could have Afghanistan back UNDER BIDEN'S TERM, while being impeached, just for campaign bragging points.
FACT: Our military succeeded in 'withdrawing' from Bagram air base, during the cloak of one night's darkness, without local Afghans even realizing.
FACT: tRump had no intentions of evacuating and saving 125,000 of western citizens nor our Afghan allies.
China? Remind voters that General Milley had to talk down his Chinese military counterparts against a preemptive nuclear attack upon US, had tRump's insurrection succeeded.
BIDEN ALREADY NEGOTIATED THE RESUMPTION OF MILITARY COMMUNICATIONS WITH CHINA MONTHS AGO, DURING HIS SF MEETING WITH XI !! Why TF are you questioning whether it is happening?
