Sweden has bigger problems than the threat of Russia.

What is behind this personal obsession with Putin?
1
Sanctions = self imposed blockade. They are self harming. The same objections apply to the EU protected Single Market. If you want to harm someone you don't sell them stuff they need.
1
Shame we can't stop the constant shootings and bombings inside Sweden.
1
@sunspot42 They will both go broke within months. If the EU has any sense it will not take Scotland, ditto the Republic and Northern Ireland.

@maxdavis7722 Trade flows develop between countries with complementary economies eg Britain and Southern Hemisphere agricultural producers. Most of the original EEC countries had competing economies and the trade potential was for taking in each other's washing. Eastern Europe is a basket case precisely for geographical reasons, because trade to the east ie former Soviet countries, is blocked off. This is a factor in the current proxy war. Once goods are on board a ship, the cost of additional distance is relatively small. This works well for Britain, but not so much for Germany which is better place for trading with neighbouring countries with transport by road and rail.

Islam itself is an extreme right wing movement. All genuinely liberal people find it abhorrent. Anti Arab sentiment is fuelled by the behaviour of the Arabs themselves. You don't get much anti Chinese or a anti Vietnamese or anti Korean or anti Thai sentiment. People are also learning to distinguish between Christian Arabs and Muslim ones. A minority of Muslims can be serious trouble. We would not have all that trouble with airport security if it was not for them.

Woke channel.

Neither are their customers in the EU.

I wish they would kick us out.

It's the EU's fault for not scrapping VAT. It is designed for fraudsters.
1
It goes with the quality of the analysis.

Best criminals in town.

Funny how does the Sweden government manage to get away with ignoring digital privacy? Anyone can look up anyone's name, address, telephone number, income and date of birth, released by the tax authorities. It's a scammers' paradise. Information used for security in Britain is all freely available on line on Sweden. Data protection? Forget it.

@inbb510 Whatever we vote for, we get the same.

Zelensky will be taking the salute at the victory parade in Red Square by the end of August.
1
@toyotaprius79 Rightly so. Preoccupation with the evil deeds of the Israelis is the mark of an antisemite.
1
It is all globalist WEF propaganda anyway. You wonder why TLDR needs extra money. Good for a laugh but we are being led to ruin.
1
That's a relief for the Serbians.
1
What is the right decision?
1
@ragnargustafsson6637 I would have thought that Sweden would be too much of a headache. The Islamic Republic of Skåne will be something that the Swedes will eventually have do decide how to deal with.

When the ground has dried out, it could be a different story. The Russians have their forces in place and will be able to spread out. There can be no winners in this conflict. It just needs to stop, and the warring parties got round a table. The Russian demands were not unreasonable: no EU, no NATO and a redrawing of Stalin's borders, which also include bits of Hungary, Poland and Slovakia. The Russian mistake was to step up the war. This is not a conflict outsiders should take a sides over.

This shows how ludicrous the sanctions are. The economy of little Estonia has always been tightly linked to that of its neighbours. The Estonians need to understand the importance of rubbing along with the neighbours they depend on. Where did the missiles come from that landed in Pskov?
1
The biggest losers from the sanctions are the people who need the gas and oil.
1
@WhichDoctor1 Well put. You can thank the EU for getting in the way of a normal trading relationship.
1
@derorje2035 ...and therefore the most important supplier, and the EU Single Market gets in the way of imports.
1
@crazydragy4233 The EU should not be shoving its nose anywhere.
1
NATO nej tack.
