The EU is as much of a danger to people in Europe as is Russia.
1
@ragael1024 Ethnic minority Russians are given a bad time in many of the independent former USSR countries, as a matter of policy by those countries' governments. Isn't that inviting trouble?
1
There are plenty of poor people in "rich" countries. They are the ones who will pay, and the debt will never be repaid. The sooner the Brussels circus closes down, the better. It has been running even longer than Coronation Street.
1
@eliahabib5111 Tsar means king.
1
How long to they think the tanks will last? They might as well send them straight to the scrapyard. The Ukrainians cannot not win this. At the best they will carry on indefinitely sending their people into the mincing machine until they have had enough, or there are no more men left to send. This is a seriously stupid wars on a par with the west in Afghanistan, the Soviets in Afghanistan, Iran-Iraq, Vietnam and WW1. In the meantime, the wheels are coming off in Kiev.
1
@sarowie Stupid EU. That means higher prices and shortages of fish in the EU. It doesn't bother us so much here in Sweden as we get ours from mostly from the Kattegat, Baltic and lakes, but in other places the shortages will be noticed. I am sure the British can eat their own fish. If they don't like it the usual way I am sure the processing industry will take advantage and sell it for ready-meals, fish fingers, cat food, etc. It will not go to waste.
1
@paulneville7154 Not a problem. The EU will suffer shortages and higher prices, so they are the big losers. People in the UK can eat all the fish that is caught. In the worst case scenario it will end up in fish fingers and as cat food.
1
@MrJimheeren I have eaten herring three times in the past seven days. Salmon is farmed in Scotland. The British, and their cats, can eat all the fish that the British fishermen catch. In the worst case it can become fish fingers.
1
@dorderre The German politicians who are taking the risk are not the Germans who wl be suffering from their decision. It could get interesting.
1
Why does Ukraine want to join what the UK voted to leave? The only plausible explanation is that the Ukrainian oligarchs want to get their hand on the EU's money.
1
@levi_amplaylist5951 It has not been happening
1
EU trade and economic policies are text book fascist. They are in Mein Kampf.
1
Israel is not a colonialist power. There was nothing worth colonising, the land was legally purchased at extortionate prices, and half the population is of North African or Middle Eastern origin. Irish people have been badly misinformed.
1
Breast stroke or front crawl?
1
You will not benefit.
1
@CIutchX The EU trade and economic policies would work against Ukraine.
1
TLDR's personalisation of the conflict as "Putin's" destroys the channel's credibility. Putin is the best tsar Russia has had since Alexander II. If he vanished tomorrow he would be replaced by a very similar tsar.
1
They are the Dunning Kruger channel. The Duran is more reliable.
1
Some people admire him, especially the country's firm line on migration.
1
@buddy1155 That would be good. These countries need protection from the folly of their own governments. Bigger threat than the Russians.
1
Great news. Our most proficient criminal gangs come from that part of the world. Two more corrupt black holes for taxpayers' money to disappear into. I wonder if they will beat Romania's current 34% VAT gap?
1
They didn't do so well at the UK nationality test.
1
Payback for the atrocities perpetrated by the Bosniaks. Not justifiable but explicable.
1
Please explain.
1
Putin has become what he is largely because of the expansionist actions of NATO and the EU. NATO is perceived as a threat. The EU's trade and economic policies have actively prevented the establishment of normal trading relationships with the former Soviet countries. On the contrary, it breeds hostility with all the neighbouring countries, as has developed with Ireland since Brexit. Even if Putin were to disappear, the replacement is likely to be similar or worse.
1
Yes, they can easily keep their railways running with steam locomotives.
1
Dunning-Kruger in full flood. I love it.
1
@clutrike7956 They sound like a WTO operation to me.
1
@andrewemerson1613 "objective reality has an overwhelmingly liberal bias. there is literally no subject where the collective body of evidence supports the 'conservative' position.# Can you prove that objectively?
1
Have you spoken to the people who live there,
1
Oh, blast! I thought the Ukes were heading for Moscow last autumn.
1
Funny these countries survived the Cold War without being in NATO. Sweden has already been invaded through reckless immigration policies.
1
@thegamer5367 Are you serious? The EU is one of the reasons for the war in Ukraine and the troubles in former Yugoslavia. It pours petrol on the fire.
1
The EU needs to disband.
1
The Duran, Putin's mouthpiece, says the opposite. Where is the truth?
1
Zelensky will be taking the salute at his victory parade in Moscow by the end of the summer.
1
I wish people would stop personalising international politics. Putin did not lead the Russian army into Sevro-whatsit.
1
Even if Ukraine got its act together it would make no sense for UK itself in economic or political terms. EU trade policy is based on the gravity model which is why it would not work for Ukraine. Ukraine soumds so dreadful that one has to ask why we are being asked to suffer in defence of its "democracy". We should stop the meddling and encourage the Ukrainians to mend their fences with their quite similar neighbours.
1
Yes they are quite similar. The Ukrainians have been bashing their Russian minority since 2014. The Russians had had enough.
1
The EU is pushing its luck. The Hungarians could do a nice deal with Putin to hand back the bits of Hungary stolen by Stalin and included in Ukraine at the end of WW2. The EU is hammering nails into its own coffin. Keep it up VDL.
1
Ask the Serbians about the good intentions of NATO.
1
Far Right = Centre Left before the Looney Left fixed the scale.
1
It's not guilt. They can spot antisemitism when they see it and they know what it leads to. First they come for the Jews. The real target is is the Christians.
1
Funny about the GDPR - everyone's personal information in Sweden is publicised by the Tax Agency. It's a fraudsters' paradise here. How is that legal under the GDPR? Everything that banks ask as security questions is public in Sweden and you have to ask your bank to add extra security questions.
1
Does that mean NATO will be sending troops to Sweden to combat the shootings and bombings in Stockholm and Gothenburg?
1
They are not sanctions. It is a boycott. We in the west are being made to do without essential stuff which comes from Russia eg oil and gas.
1
What is the point of being locked into the EU's ruinous trade and economic policies? Lowest Common Denominator applies.
1
The horror of it. Cheaper bread.Great idea to prevent food from getting into your country. A policy straight out of the 18th century. It cost Louis XVI his head. With luck, the politicians who run these policies will end up with their heads in baskets.
1
The Swedish politicians have got enough on their plate without having to try to sell that idea. Lowest poll ratings ever this month.
1
I hope you are right. I know a lot of Serbs. They detest and despise the EU. So, seemingly to a lot of Swedes; the question of Swexit keeps on popping up.
