  4. ...Again, the symphony of that V4!!!! What a stunning car!!! It is indeed a beautiful, high-quality, and competent coupe. My uncle had the exact same model, but in light blue (peacock blue) - loooooovely car! The thing was built to such incredibly high quality!!!

  10. Well guys, the desire is only part of the equation... For me there's weather, traffic, roads condition and cost issues... Sometimes it's just better to use a more *normal *car, and save the Porsche for more special high days out. The car never fails to deliver a sense of occasion.

  13. OMG Ted 😍😍😍 that's exactly like the "Lusso" my dad bought brand new in 1970, in 'blue Lord', except his had the rare red interior... Stunning! Later we also had a 'coral red' L. They were great little cars. Such amazing memories ❤️ The thing is, if you know how to drive, it's a fun little car!

  15. Agree with you - as a Cayman driver I fully agree that Porsche 'does not allow' the Cayman to be as fast as the 911....they only allow it to be "easier", which suits me just fine tbh....

  19. The R107 is indeed a true sexy beauty. The 560 is a real dream with that powerful 8 cylinder thing. And it sound so good. Not sure about the US spec additions like the double headlights, the far-too-bulky bumpers and the excessive chrome... No way this is an old man's car, if anything it's a sexy young ladies' car!!

  21. Beautiful scenery man! Love it. Reminds me somewhat of the English countryside. On a side note, that GX is a Biggg-A$$ V8 monster-SUV... no wonder it's capable and comfortable!! Driving one of those anywhere in Europe would be akin to riding a growing oil liability...not to mention finding a parking spot would prove next to impossible 💀 Ultimately I love the final bit on the (Italian?) resto-moto-bar - cool place! and the music!!! What music is that???

  25. One of the few cars I have never really liked. It looks stumpy to me. But then again here in Italy we mostly got the 4-pot 2.0 liter, which was not only underpowered, but sounded farty-awful. This does not detract from an otherwise EXCELLENT video my dear friend, which I have enjoyed HUGELY.

  30. This car is easy and enjoyable as you say because it's a 'normal' car by modern standards, it's easy, simple, direct, un-fussed, and not a not crazy-fast monster like so many "perfectly un-usable" sports car with a gazillion of CVs, a numb steering and suspensions that will kill your spine.

Always loved a good old Commando! ...although over here most Commandos had a slow, noisy, Perkins-built Diesel unit that struggled to propel the thing even beyond 55 MpH....the black, sooty smoke produced by those things was worse than that of a 707 take-off I kid you not. (on a side note, I also like GOING Commando! 🤣🤣🤣🤣)

Hey Ted, if that's the sort of roads you crave, you should go to Sardinia (Italy): the island is breathtakingly beautiful, with amazing beaches and a very empty, very spectacular, very wild interior. The roads are a driver's dream: curvy, empty, well-paved, with amazing views either on valleys, canyons, or the amazing coastline.

  47. Beautiful video, amazing content, gorgeous car ❤️💜 I will be parking up the Cayman for the summer months, and exchange that for the VW Eos. It's hard to do, because the lure of a drive in the Porsche is haunting, but the convertible makes so much sense in the heat of the Tuscan summer. And I'm able to stop the expensive insurance for a few months ✨ win win.
