Here things that are done to increase profits while decreasing the quality of products are accepted. . People in other countries say we eat old food. They are right! That fresh salad we crave has been driven around the country or countries for over a week before it gets to the middlemen. There some of the stuff may go into cold storage for weeks or months before coming to market. Most fast food has been frozen for an indeterminate time. That fresh coleslaw, potato salad, or pasta salad was made a month ago and poured into a five gallon bucket.
