The "National Emergency" that Trump spoke of recently is the equivalent of "Martial Law" which is the complete takeover of a country by one man, a dictator. When Trump declares Martial Law he can put troops on the streets, make or change any law, anything his heart desires will be legal. Protest will not be legal.
