How would you feel after 3 weeks of quarantine? Also, they are astronauts, not rock stars. Also, did you watch the whole 90 minutes, the atmosphere got better quickly. Did you also watch the press conferences of the 6 subsequent missions?

If your grandfather had had the internet he could have picked up a search engine and asked the question how many manned moon landings there have been. You could do the same.

Nixon called Mission Control where it was put through to their S-band radio which used dish antennas between 20 and 70 meters in diameter.
15
How reliable do you think a Netflix series is? According to Neil Armstrong, he received many questions from the prince and answered them.
11
Why didn't they ever go back? Well, they went back 5 more times. Apollo 17 was the last mission in 1972. That same year, Nixon decided to end the Apollo program. The 20,000 contractors involved shut down their production lines, making it impossible to build a rocket capable of taking a crew and a lunar lander to the moon, and there was no compelling reason to go back again. With project Artemis, they plan to go back, but given the current political climate, that is still uncertain.
11
After 1972 there were no more contractors who could build a moon rocket. There were 20,000 then, while Elon has to do it alone now.

In July 2009, Sibrel, who at the time was working as a Nashville taxicab driver, was charged with vandalism when he jumped up and down on the hood of a car owned by a woman with whom he was having a parking dispute. Court documents show he was arrested after the driver refused to pull out of a parking space he wanted. The arresting officer wrote, "A few moments later the parking space in front of the victim opened up and Sibrel drove into it and parked." Sibrel "then walked up to the victim's car and jumped onto the hood, and then jumped up and down several times." The report says he caused $1,431 worth of damage, after which Sibrel pleaded guilty to vandalism and was placed on probation. Bart Sibrel is a taxi driver and absolutely not a scientist. On the contrary, he is a con man who rips off gullible people and swindles their money. If you believe him will show that you absolutely do not have the knowledge to judge whether the 6 moon landings were real.

Luna 15 was a Soviet robotic space mission that orbited the Moon concurrently with the Apollo 11 mission. It was launched on July 13, 1969, three days before Apollo 11, officially with the goal of returning lunar soil to Earth. On July 21, 1969, as the Apollo 11 astronauts completed their first moonwalk, Luna 15 began its descent to the lunar surface. Unfortunately, the spacecraft crashed into the Mare Crisium just hours before the Apollo 11 astronauts lifted off from the Moon. It was a last-ditch attempt by the Soviet Union to gain a head start in the space race, but it ultimately failed.

The fact that everything is easy to look up these days but even that is neglected also says enough.

He and 11 others.

Daylight on one side and night on the other is not possible with a flat earth. Nor is 24 hours of sunlight on one pole and 24 hours of darkness on the other pole. Nor is it spring above the equator and autumn below the equator.

There were 9 manned flights to the moon. They landed there 6 times and 12 people have walked on the moon. They have collected over 380 kilos of moon rocks that have been studied by scientists from 135 countries including Russia. They all unanimously agreed that these were genuine and stood as scientifically irrefutable evidence. Your opinion is based solely on gut feelings.
6
@nirodha60 It takes radio waves from the moon 1.2 seconds to reach Earth. A live stream would take even longer because the digital signal has to be converted to analog.
6
@linrachelsc5564 Your grandfather didn't have the internet, you do. Take a search engine of your choice and ask the question how many manned moon landings have there been.
6
All 6 missions were broadcasted live. More than 8000 photos are online. No professional photographer has ever been able to prove that these are fake.
6
There were even 6 moon landings. Look it up. There is a horizontal bar at the top of the flag that keeps the flag stretched. Wouldn't it be strange if there was wind in a studio?

The REAL story: In 1969, the U.S. ambassador to the Netherlands J. William Middendorf II presented a rock to former Dutch Prime Minister Willem Drees. This rock was believed to be a piece of the moon brought back by the astronauts. However, in 2006, during an exhibition, a space expert raised doubts about the authenticity of the rock. Subsequent testing by researchers from Amsterdam’s Free University revealed that the rock was actually a piece of petrified wood. Despite this revelation, the Rijksmuseum, where the rock is kept, decided to retain it as a curiosity and a reminder of the fascinating story. Why the ambassador gave that stone has never been discovered. He probably didn't even know himself. In 1969, Queen Juliana received a number of moon rocks from President Richard Nixon. These rocks were later donated to the Rijksmuseum Boerhaave in Leiden. In addition, in 1973 the Netherlands received a set of moon rocks from the Apollo 17 mission. These rocks were donated to 135 countries as part of the so-called ‘Goodwill Rock’ collection.

They knew this thanks to Dr. James Van Allen who was an advisor to NASA.
6
John Glenn lived to be 95 years old and even took part in a Space Shuttle mission at the age of 77. What you claim about him ever having burns is simply a lie. Your reasoning is just gut feelings.
6
Would it be an idea to ask a random search engine how many manned moon landings there have been? The answer to that question is immediately the answer Musk wants to achieve.
5
He made it up himself so I don't know how afraid he is of his own lie.

Sand and dust spreads out exactly as you would expect in an environment with no atmosphere and 1/6 of Earth's gravity. Why should it move slower if there is no drag from an atmosphere? The rooster tail pattern behind the wheels is due to ballistic and parabolic effects and is consistent with the natural laws you would expect in such an environment. This is empirical evidence rather than gut feeling.

5
Nonsense. It was generally accepted. Everything was 'space' at that time. The commercial world went all in on it and all the TV stations went into it extensively. The 60s brought new things like the Concorde, the X-15 and the 747 just rolled off the assembly line.
5
What Sibrel has never been able to refute is that 382 kilos of moon rocks, examined by geochronologists from many countries, have provided irrefutable scientific evidence of their authenticity. To this day, they are being investigated using the most modern equipment and methods.
5
There was no reason to fake the SIX moon landings because it was a race with the Soviets. They would have found out for sure if it had been faked.
5
Sibrel is a grifter and a liar. He makes his money by selling his book to gullible people and Candace gives him a platform.
5
Where do those 381 kilos of moon rocks come from that have been examined by scientists from 135 countries including Russia? They have unanimously concluded that they are indeed moon rocks. Have you ever consulted a search engine and looked up how many manned moon landings there have been? I can already tell you that there were more than 1.
5
Isn't it striking that he keeps talking about the moon landing, in the singular. Every search engine gives the answer that there were 6.
5
Governments control budgets, they have absolutely no knowledge of rocket science.
5
This guy lies about everything, so why not this?
5
Three astronauts have sworn on the Bible to him, but he doesn't show it.
5
@yusufbest4475 What's so funny about that? Explain.
5
These two make money by lying to gullible people.
5
@Alisonwarr87 This is what God's representative on earth thought about it: Pope Paul VI congratulated the United States on the Apollo 11 moon landing. On July 20, 1969, when Neil Armstrong became the first to walk on the moon, Pope Paul VI sent his greetings and blessings to the astronauts. He called the moon landing a "sublime victory" and praised the achievement as a recognition of the "greatness of God's handiwork." He had an audience with the 3 astronauts in October 1969.
5
@Alice-w5f5f Fishbowl was a nuclear test of the electromagnetic fields around the earth. If there really was a firmament, there would still be dinosaurs walking around and we wouldn't.
5
Douglas Trumbull was the visual effects man for 2001 and so he would have been the visual effects man for the eventual fake landings. However, he has vehemently denied that he or Kubrick were ever involved in making any fake moon landing film ever.
5
None of the 6 manned moon landings were fake.
5
The fact is they landed on the moon 6 times. Google is still free.
5
They overwrote SSTV Ampex tapes in the 80s. The NTSC converted tapes are still around and have been digitized for a long time. That's a shame but no drama. After that came 5 more missions.
5
Moon landing? Look up how many manned moon landings there have been.
5
If you believe Sibrel's CIA story then that is an insult to the CIA.
5
@hopescarbrough767 Christa McAuliffe died in the Space Shuttle Challenger accident on January 28, 1986. The last mission to the moon was in 1972. The Shuttle was designed to go only into a low Earth orbit and land like a glider on Earth.
5
Sibrel was a Nashville cab driver. Not a journalist and certainly not a scientist. He is just trying to sell his book to people who don't have the necessary knowledge, are gullible, or are too lazy to do their own research. Take your pick of the bunch.
5
Where did those 380 kilos of moon rocks come from? Back then, they didn't have robots like Perseverance on Mars now.
5
Isn't it strange that Sibrel never mentions the other 5 moon missions, nor that the 382 kilos of moon rocks were examined by geologists from 135 countries?
5
Sibrel is a taxi driver, not a scientist. Don't worry.
5
You are as big a liar as Sibrel. You are not curious at all and you have not looked into anything.
5
I also wonder who holds all those doorbell cameras. Who feeds those people?
5
Like is Sibrel a grifter and a liar? He is!
