@palestalemale8831 as a kid I lived in the most densely student populated area in Europe, it was Europe's biggest student ghettp. When I was a teenager my and my mates used to gatecrash the parties they kept having, I mean there was loads and we'd be walking back from the pub or club or a session or something. Eventually we got so comfortable we ended up being the life and soul of the parties and would get loads of our mates round who would bring vinyl and do a takeover. This was all fine until the host discovered that we were locals and not students and didn't actually know anyone before walking in, then the atmosphere would change abruptly and they'd try to get us to leave. Ludicrous imo

@Rius9106 and nuclear power plants are definitely not built properly or in very good places. Most of them are by the coast. Many are in earthquake zones. Fukushima for example, which is still leaking radioactive waste into the sea. Nuclear waste is a huge dangerous problem that has no solution and is mounting up. Nuclear reactors have a 50 year life span if that, after which they have to be decommissioned. No body takes into account the cost of storing and eventually coaching waste and cleaning up old plants. It's a completely false economy. Look at Boeing for a typical example of private industry attitude to safety.

Brian Wyters Yeah plenty, 4 major incidents in the last 10 years alone, and there have been dozens of minor ones. Go back further there have been a lot more. And they have a huge problem decommissioning and replacing their old reactors not to mention dealing with their nuclear waste. Why do you think most of their nuclear power stations are on their west coast facing Britain? Funnily enough the prevailing wind also blows that way. Fukushima is a massive disaster area and will be generations. There are 581 nuclear reactors and 4 have had meltdowns so far, that's a 0.7% chance.
