  4. There wasn't as many or as much awareness of them plus if people did believe them you wouldn't usually hear about it because they had no way of communicating with you unless you knew them and spent time in their company. Information spread was even slower than virus spread in those days

  22. Bram Laurens I won't be flying on one and there's a lot of people in Europe who feel the same. When you buy your tickets you check the plane, if there's a chance it's a 737 max you go elsewhere, won't take too long for airlines to work it out and cancel orders

Bobbytrap nah you're wrong, because Boeing sold this as a modification to an existing plane rather then a redesign, they got to certify the planes safely, the FAA didn't touch it or get involved. In reality the new engines, the change in position of them and the fundamental changes that made to the aerodynamics of the plane requiring software just to keep the thing in the air meant that in reality it was a while different plane and they should have gone through the more expensive and time consuming route of getting FAA certification, which would have undoubtedly found these glasses and forced a redesign, something Boeing didn't want because it would have been expensive and forced a long delay and they would've lost orders to Airbus

Rumble there are actually wide variety of interpretations and practices within Islam. if you follow biblical law literally, as some fundamentalist Christians would advocate, it is just as repressive and medival as fundamentalist Islam. Luckily both sets are in the minorityz the vast majority of Muslims are moderate.

It's not the religion its how its interpreted, and how it is used for power. People burned midwives and called them witches in the name of Christianity in the middle ages, and people preach hatred and voilence in the name of Islam today. Other people preach hatred and voilence in the name of Christianity, or money, or against a religion. Theres even people who preach hatred and voilence and kill people in the name of Christian pro life. Pro-life Christians killing other Christians in America. Perhaps we should view all Pro-life Christians as a threat now, or even all Christians.

  49. +se7ensnakes what you say about banks inventing money is more or less true, it's called the cash reserve ratio and the expansion of the money supply. Basically of all the cash deposits on peoples banks the demand for that money in cash at any point in time is only about say 10% (it can vary from bank to bank country to country). Banks then assume that ALL their deposits are the 10% and lend out 90% on that basis. So when you put money in a bank, or receive your wages or whatever, the banks expand the money supply by 9 times that amount in loans etc
