  2. The argument for a third party vote. THE CASE FOR A TRUMP PRESIDENCY: The Democrat's sole purpose is to take energy and resources from the Left and working class people. Period. They made that clear with what they did to Bernie Sanders in both 2016 & 2020. They would rather Trump than real progress because ultimately the goal is to reward the donor class & consolidate power into the elites, not help the regular people. With that as a guide (let's stop pretending that the DNC hasn't been failing on purpose for the last 40ish years, every time they do the Rich get richer and that's a coincidence i suppose), the logical conclusion to our future is eventual climate collapse & or WW3, which will be the pretext for actual fascism (covid really felt like a soft launch). When that happens and we don't have a movement, (Panther Party or Greens but my concern with the greens is that they will sacrifice themselves on the altar of electoralism that bares no fruit & won't be strident when required) that has been well funded, with trained people, they'll round up the political opposition and the new world order will be impossible to fight against (think of the French underground leading up to the Nazi take over but now they have an algorithm that flags the people who are capable of fighting back and systematically finds all of their petty crimes to either discredit them & or more likely incarceration/assassination). Therefore, I'm starting to think a second Trump presidency might be in everyone's best interest? If Biden is re-elected everyone gets to go back to brunch and pretend that democracy is ok. A Biden presidency would reward the DNC for being corrupt, breaking all its promises to the Left, purposely making student debt relief fail in a corporate SCOTUS, kids still in cages, refugees dying at the border as well as continuing Trump's "wall', failure on climate, failure on a public healthcare option, the most approvals of oil & gas permits, support to break the backs of unions that actually affect the American economy (despite what Krystal ball says, the fact that they broke the rail workers strike with legislation tells you what the DNC will really do when push comes to shove on unions) continuing to promote the proxy war against Russia and American complicity for the genocide in Gaza and on and on and on, etc........... However, if Trump is re-elected everyone will remember that children are still dying in detention, health insurance is out of control, democracy is under direct threat, the world is burning and at least Trump says he would try to end the war in Ukraine (obviously Trump would nuke Ukraine for a nickel but the fact he even suggested peace is better than the DNC's current pro WW3 stance. Sadly, the same with Gaza. Even Trump understands that genocide draws too large of a spotlight to grift in the darkness). Also and more importantly, let's say we drag Biden across the line and now he doesn't have to face re-election, do people honestly believe he'll go against the donors and deliver anything for the working class!?!? Another thing is the fact that if Biden serves a full 8 years, it will almost certainly ensure a GOP sweep of all 3 branches of government and this time it won't be a moronic gameshow host but a capable authoritarian who will have unlimited power. I'd rather Trump win and let him grift for another term with divided government than face the prospect of a GOP 2028 sweep after 4 more years of Neoliberal policies under Biden. The reality is that we can boil the climate/fascist frog slow or fast but it's going to fry either way. If the fire is stoked, it would re-unite the REAL LEFT and remind the Corporate Democrats that breaking every promise to the Left has consequences or if we are really lucky, public awareness that the duopoly won't save us and force regular people to understand that they're also in the same boiling pot......
