@tineristineris1860 Because warlords have more weapons than them, and they have no way of fighting back...
It's not like you have a choice when a warlord can send a truck full of men with AKs to kill your whole village if you do not cooperate...
The past is responsible for the present, developed countries have a long stable past, like the US, Stable for 161 years, UK, stable for 78 years, Germany, stable for 78 years, Japan, stable for 78 years, Sweden, stable for 209 years, Switzerland stable for 208 years, Australia stable for 235 years, New Zealand stable for 173 years. etc.
What country do you live in? I bet you it has been at peace for longer than 50 years.
And besides, most of developed countries haven't been as poor as the avarage African country in centuries...

@mkellydixon Then why does hate speech regulation work in Germany, Finland, Denmark, New Zealand, etc? It is just giving people fines, and in the worst case prison time if they keep repeating it, hate speech is when people directly publicly state that they hate another group as a whole, say that they or someone want or should punish them verbally or physically. It is not a slippery slope, you know what is? Banning books about trans people...those where the first books to be burned by the 1930s german Nazis.
I know nothing about guns and ammunition? I know that a general hunting rifle is typically around 30 caliber, and to kill the game being hunted it doesn't need to go several times the speed of sound, sure it helps to decrease the bullet drop and how much leed you have to aim with if it moves, but it is not anything that would make it impossible. The 5.56 mm nato round is a very fast round, small calibre, high power load, very good at going through kevlar, steel etc, especially if fitted with steel or tungsten cores. And then there is the 7.52x51 which has the same proportion of Bullet size to powder load, making it even more potent against hard targets.
What do you know about guns? Other than some names of shells and rounds and some guns? Do you know anything about the physics behind them? What makes a better round agaist hard targets? What makes a weapon more lethal against targets at long distances that are moving? What do you know about bullet geometry and composition? What do you know about Chamber pressure and grain size?
