They stagnate and refuse to put more effort into their work than the next person because there is no profit in it for that individual. It's a race to the bottom when advancement halts Then you factor in the human nature of greed and corruption and your system completely breaks down. It happens every time....

And no, water vapor is not always at a constant. The warmer the air is, the more water vapor the air can hold. There are places where it is very warm and very little humidity. All of this depends on multiple factors. Is the moisture content of the air always the same where you are? lol Were you born yesterday?

  35. Life on this planet is alread doomed, it always was. Life was almost wiped out multiple times. You never know, human activity could actually be what prolongs it next time. We could redirect a plant killing asteroid, kill a deadly pathogen, or preserve the seeds of life that will allow the planet to have a new start. We are not all good, nor are we all bad. We have a place in this world and succumbing to the wrath of nature without resistance is not living up to our potential. Short sightedness is a mater of perspective.

That's the same as it's been for a long long time in the west. The difference is, now they are forced to pay whatever someone else, mainly the rich, tell them to pay and they have to wait for services that may never be approved. Yeah, ummm, good work I guess...

  46. If you listen closely to the end of her speach, she said we should be skeptical of pseudo-archeology. Who decides what that is. Why can't we be skeptical of all or any archeology we want to? It's more branding and exclusion of people (marginalizing) for "wrong think". We are being conditioned to accept authority were none exists. She seriously asked the question if it was vandalism to destroy statues of Confederates. Of course it was. There are processes in place to handle the removal if the people choose for it. Those statues could have been removed and a new one put in its place to be a symbol for a new generation. Now what is left is as much of an eyesore as what it was before. They could have sold the statues, or found a suitable please for them far away from the view of those they offended. It's like saying we should destroy and deface all historical items because they are of a "less than perfect history".
