  19. Manual transmissions are great In Michigan, but I gave up my manual when I moved to San Francisco! When I was in high school I wanted to drive manuals forever, plus automatics robbed power and ruined the gas mileage.

  25. Can you program different options for different named drivers like you can in Teslas? I haven’t seen anyone, that I know of, go beyond memory seat, mirrors and steering column. I always ask this question, but I never get any answers. Journalists that review Model 3 and Model Y usually don’t even know what can be programmed.

  26.  @timboatfield  The husband did not walk away, he was taken away in handcuffs for driving the wrong car to kill his family. I wonder if the battery back saved their life because its weight kept the car in the safest orientation and it protected them from intrusion of not being on an even surface? I am not an engineer, obviously!

  28. Tesla's have incredible engineering, if only they could assemble their cars as well as the other cars that have combustion engineering! It seems that that Tesla has trouble with the simplest of the details, but they really have a handle on the hard stuff.

  37. I would hope that my contractor would show me the damage to my SubZero, because I would completely reject that product. I think that I could wait for a replacement door on the cheaply packaged "bargain" Frigidaire unit. Thank you so much for sharing these fascinating products. I believe that my Samsung three door made in Korea, refrigerator has much better quality internal hardware the yours from Thailand.

It sounds like Ford rushed this vehicle to market knowing that a lot of systems needed improving, they went with an existing HVAC system and they have a locking pin like an automatic transmission uses to keep the car from rolling in Park. They made a gorgeous car, inside and outside and when people buy a combustion car, they don’t care about a tear down like this, but BEV customers are much more in tuned to these things. I would live to own a Mach E, but how will I know when these improvements have been made? I certainly can’t ask a lying salesperson.
