Banning elected politicians, their households from being landlords could improve affordable housing policy. It would also mean many Tories leaving politics.

The UK has always been an independent sovereign state, always been able to make its own laws and always controlled migration into the UK whilst within the EU. The Guardian must also share responsibility for the Conservatives being reelected in 2019 for failing to support Labour Party under Jeremy Corbyn. British politicians blame the EU for the problems of failed Neoliberal Thatcherite policies, austerity and privatisation. Brexit supporters lives will not change until Brexit supporters and Brexit voters stop voting for Tories, Thatcherism and Neoliberalism. The UK will eventually rejoin the EU but not before economic collapse to achieve the purest ideological hard Brexit has ruining the UK. Brexiteers hoping for US trade deals will be expected to agree to an America First Brexit with Americans and the US given the same equal access to the UK as the British and UK within the UK.

Brexiteers claimed Brexit would save immense amounrs of money, yet the same Brexiteers failed to state that net annual EU membership costs were less than 1.26% of the annual UK Government expenditure in 2016. Brexit in the early years has cost the UK more than all the net annual EEC and EU membership combined.
