The media focussed on the landslide general election victory by Boris Johnson's Conservative Party in 2019, however the media did not report on the numbers of votes for each political party, voter share and demographics.
Most voters aged under 50 tended to vote Labour and most voters aged over 60 voted Conservative.
Jeremy Corbyn's socialist Labour Party received more votes in the general election of 2019 than the Labour Party in 1983, 1987, 2005, 2010 and 2015.
Only Harold Wilson in 1964 and Tony Blair in 1997 received more votes than Jeremy Corbyn as leaders of the Labour Party.
Jeremy Corbyn's socialist Labour Party received more votes in the 2017 general election than the Labour Party did in 1970, 1974 (two general elections), 1979, 1983, 1987, 1992, 2001, 2005, 2010, 2015, 2019.
It's media hostility including broadcasters, lies about Brexit and First Past The Post electoral system that resulted in Boris Johnson's Conservative majority.
Therefore the Labour Party needs to return to the Labour values and policies of 2017 and 2019 in order to win future elections.
General election results data on the numbers of votes and percentage share of votes cast is available online from House of Commons Library (PDF format):

According to Electoral Reform Society: Had the 2019 general election used the D'Hondt regional list system of proportional representation the system previously used to elect MEPs in the UK than Boris Johnson would only have a majority of 3 MPs in December 2019.
Therefore Jeremy Corbyn has been a success in terms of Labour Party leader and vastly increased Labour Party membership during his time as Labour Party leader.
There were 9 million people who were not registered to vote in 2019 and automatic voter registration and free voter photo ID will increase voter participation and voter turnout.

45 years of Thatcherism, privatisation, austerity, poverty, deprivation, destitution, homelessness, cost of living crisis, benefit cuts, cuts to public services, forcing public services to compete against public services for funding, forcing the poor to compete against the poor for council/social housing, has resulted in the fragmentation of society.
