  3. But they taste good. Like REALLY good. All kinds! It's kinda amazing. You'd think it would just be some fluke, but no. Some fish, most crustaceans, some birds, some bivalves, MOST herding herbavores and even a few mammalian omnivores. Crazy, huh? Anyway. That's the thing. They taste good , they're a prestige protein that is likely going to eventually mostly leave the human diet, but not until widely available replacement becomes globally prevalent ALONG SIDE massive disruption of the meat industry. Sorry.

  4.  @hechss  you'd be surprised from my tone, but I agree with you. However, I find the simplicity of those arguments to be colossally understating the difficult in effecting them. It's borderline delusional/immature to suggest "well, the whole world should just give up meet" without understanding and acknowledging why it seeks out meat so much and figuring out how to untangle those connections.
