Those using Canada as their temporary base while fighting for Khalistan don't really see Canada as their home. For them, Canada is just a temporary base of operations. They don't want to be attacked back while attacking a foreign country from Canadian soil. Grifter Justin Trudeau is willing to provide them protection -- in exchange for their votes. He's running a human import racket and a protection racket. It's Quid Pro Quo all the way -- "you scratch my back and I scratch yours"

:face-red-droopy-eyes: "More people moved to Canada" - so stop importing more people - stop disenfranchising existing Canadian citizenry to support some macro-level growth at the expense of the existing population. Existing voters have no desire to be subjected to this. And why claim strikes are responsible for inflation? How many strikes are happening out there? Look at the bulk of people who aren't striking, aren't in a position to strike, and are suffering through the erosion of their wages? What kind of rubbish apologist has Andrew Chang become for our ineffectual ruling establishment? The establishment need to be voted out - then they too can feel some pain, along with the rest of us. Then we too can shrug our shoulders at their plight.

The British came up with it -- the english word 'caste' is not of local origin, but was popularized under British colonial rule, and it enabled a small number of British to control a vastly larger number of Indians through Divide-and-Rule. The goal is to spread this word of colonial era origin to North America, so that it can be used for further purposes of Divide-and-Rule against those of Indian origin.

J'Accuse! This is a trumped-up campaign to incriminate America's main political opposition leader. None of these charges would have ever been cooked up, much less pursued, if the guy hadn't dared to run for the highest political office in his country. Same thing for Bret Kavanaugh - he'd have never had to face cooked-up allegations that he was a rapist, if he hadn't been nominated to the highest court in his country. The CBC repeats these bogus assertions with full solemnity and seriousness, as if they were even remotely true. The brownshirt rent-a-mobs quickly assemble on cue, with media in tow, looking to give traction to this malicious and absurd farce. :body-green-covering-eyes:

Whatever happened to these women, doesn't mean they should vilify Kavanaugh over it. These protesters should be ashamed that they screamed in the face of a cowardly Jeff Flake. This was worse than mere browbeating - they were trying to terrorize the fellow. This is why so many activists on the Left come across as radicals.
2
:hand-purple-blue-peace:Let's be clear - the Khalistan insurgency was defeated primarily by Sikhs, who valiantly braved the bullets and the bombs of predatory Khalistani terrorists, to save the population from their predations. Sikhism is a high quality path, which strongly promotes virtuous civic behaviour. The Khalistanis were just social dropouts cultivated by Pakistan.
2
Same with "Doctor" Christine Blaisey-Ford against Supreme Court nominee Bret Kavanaugh. Looks now like Kavanaugh got kid-glove treatment compared to Trump. Anita Hill's game wasn't enough to derail Clarence Thomas. Same liberals who claim to want to defend women will then claim to not know how to define a woman. So pathetic.

He's young and ignorant, with no solutions for the country's problems. He seems to have been given leadership of the NDP through backroom deals. He's also a loyal supporter of Trudeau's govt due to a backroom deal. All of these deals are at the expense of the voters, who are clueless.
2
This guy needs to speak up on all issues in the same way, instead of selectively piping up to echo His Master's Voice.
2
Because China is interfering on the side of helping Trudeau, and he doesn't want their help to end. So Trudeau has to go haul India over coals, just to pretend he's "against foreign interference" Trudeau is against ethnic groups that don't vote for him, and is very lovey-dovey to anyone who gets him more votes (Khalistanis, Chinese)
2
So convicting someone without the slightest shred of proof is the standard of "justice"? Especially if they're a political opposition leader? What happens when other countries do this to opposition leaders? Will you maintain a consistent standard in supporting that? Or will you have one standard for those whose political leanings you like, and another for those whose leanings you dislike? Shameful.
2
@MaskOfAgamemnon - ever heard of presumption of innocence? It's part of what made civilized countries civilized.
2
@Some Destiny fan ya know? - your reply seems to indicate that you object to presumption of innocence - which then says a lot more about you than about the subject you're commenting upon. Presumption of innocence is a bedrock of civilized countries. Show me a place without presumption of innocence that you would like to live in.
2
Bob's there to keep his padded sinecure secure He's got a cushy job at the UN Why doesn't he go on TV more to talk about Gaza? (Not important enough - those are only tens of thousands of Arab lives, including children - not a VIP like Navalny)
2
@pranaysherke - Jagmeet may be profiting as Trudeau's junior partner, but he's betraying NDP voters. Canadians are reeling under high inflation, especially lower-income ones who vote NDP. Jagmeet is paying lip-service to their problems but providing no relief to them. NDP voters should re-think whether they'll vote for "clever" Jagmeet (who's gotten a very clever deal for just himself mainly)

Shutting that southern border is now looking like foresight, since the pandemic requires shutting of all borders. Globalization encourages Global pandemics.

Canada's state mouthpiece -- home of the wokest Woke media Welfare program

How come there's no warrant for Bush-Cheney over their illegal invasion of Iraq, which killed far more people than have died in Ukraine? NeoCon Victoria Nuland, who now serves in the Biden whitehouse, also served in the Bush-Cheney whitehouse and also the Obama whitehouse. She helped orchestrate the invasion of Iraq, the toppling of Libya's govt, and even the overthrow of the govt in Kyiv in 2014, which turned all of these places into hellscapes. Some people want a Victor's Justice, where their preferred transgressors are treated one way, and where other transgressors are treated the opposite way. They're cheering the imminent arrest of Donald Trump, knowing that he wouldn't be treated that way if he was with the ruling party.
2
NDP under Jagmeet is just a rubber stamp for Trudeau and his Liberals. This is all just a scam upon the voters. How NDP voters can live with themselves, and not replace their current dysfunctional leader who only serves as a toady to another party, calls for their introspection.
2
This isn't a job interiew - this is L'Affaire Dreyfus! J'Accuse! How many people are made to cry during their job interview? This guy is being skewered.
2
How does a Manhattan District Attorney have the authority to prosecute someone on charges related to a Federal election? ⁉ The monkeys in the comments section are too busy laughing at Trump to even notice that this is a ridiculous violation of jurisdictional authority
2
Do you know who Gonzalo Lira is? Or was his life less important to you?
2
Oh no, you mean just like how Russia "blew up their own pipeline" (even though Biden, Nuland, Blinken were on record celebrating it)? Man, it's strange how Russians keep blowing up their own stuff, while the other side are whistling innocently, safe in the confidence of their own virtue. Truth is the First Casualty of War -- people like you always make it that way.
2
Why is this legislation happening now? What's happened in Canada to prompt it? Are we supposed to believe there were armed rioters in Ottawa on January 6? I'm just trying to understand if Canada's policymaking comes down to merely reflexively aping whatever they see going on in the USA. Will the next announcement be about removing American Civil War statues, even though we have none?
2
You seem to think that everybody's like Crooked Joe Biden, who's been peddling influence to China and Ukraine, while using his son Hunter as the bag man to pick up the cash.
2
@shawngt2 oh, why stop there - shouldn't you have said Putin's puppet? You're getting old & sleepy like Joe.

Trudeau-appointed judge rules Trudeau was justified. Big surprise - not. 🙄

This kid should have gone into a different line of work -- he should have gone into acting, drama, whatever -- and we'd have all been better off for it It's by stupidly going into politics that this kid is leaving a trail of bodies. He's like a Typhoid Mary, or like an epileptic brainsurgeon -- he just keeps messing up other peoples' lives thru his current gig
1
@citzeneh2978 - Prince Justin the despot and his faithful sepoy Jagmeet have betrayed the Canadian people, especially the poor. You want to make accusations about CONS -- go watch an old movie called "The Man Who Would Be King" (Sean Connery, Michael Caine, Christopher Plummer) about some cons who decide to take over a country called 'Kafiristan'. We're living in a modern sequel to that movie.
1
@Hyperpandas - people act in their own self-interest. If it's in their interest to stay in CPP they will, and if it's not - then goodbye CPP.
1
@Hyperpandas - no, the Alberta govt has a legitimate interest in seeing their citizens don't get shortchanged. Certainly, if I and other non-Albertans can get them to disproportionately pay as much as possible towards me, then of course I'll want to exploit that. But ultimately, they'll have to decide what's in their own best interest.
1
@Hyperpandas - you sound like one of those countries where married people aren't allowed to divorce. "Why would you not want to stay in your marriage? Who do you think you are?" People's right to opt out should be respected. People are adult enough to make decisions that are right for them.
1
In his latest video on the bombing of a hospital in Gaza, Andrew Chang takes great pains to caution against jumping to conclusions and prematurely believing allegations on who the culprit is, because he says that news organizations currently aren't in a position to verify who is to blame. HEY ANDREW & CBC --- HYPOCRITE MUCH?? Because jumping to conclusions and believing in allegations without corroboration is exactly what CBC are doing in the Nijjar case.
1
@hyrulphicsound nah, they hated Trump and didn't even call him President - just Trump. They basically snorted at his travel restriction and asked what the US was doing domestically - as if the US is busily infecting the world from its domestic territory. The US hardly has any outbreaks yet, and Pence is busy ramping up testing. The fact is that most of the pharma/drug research in the world is done in the US, so they'll be the ones leading any development of a cure.
1
@hyrulphicsound Bottom line is that this virus originated in China, as do most flu pandemics. They're the ones who need to clean up their act, and there's a conspicuous lack of criticism on this from those like you.
1
@-007-2 my response was in kind, to the OP. Likewise, why would US National Weather Service balloons be a spying threat to the US?

pakistani?
1
@A.G. M. - how do you inspect a nuclear reactor aboard a military warship? Or are inspections now suddenly obsolete under NPT? It's certainly quite a new and unique interpretation of NPT to have an alleged non-nuclear power equipped with nuclear-powered warships. I don't see any other country in the world like that. This is a different kind of animal - and I'm not talking about a platypus.
1
She didn't sound particularly illiterate or uneducated. But maybe we should hear from Biden supporters and "axe"(sic) them how they feel.
1
@BreezyBulldog I'm saying that Biden won because the election rules were changed specifically to ensure he won. I'm saying this 2020 election was not carried out in the same way as the elections of 2016, 2012, 2008, 2004, etc all were.
1
@timothyprice9064 Trump didn't engage in any election shenanigans - he campaigned based on his policy views. Biden on the other hand, didn't campaign on policy views, and didn't care to provide his views or his policies. Instead, his team focused on changing election laws wherever possible. Imagine if sports competitions were done this way. Instead of teams holding practice drills to improve their skills, they all just spend their time focusing on selecting the referee and getting the one they wanted.
1
@timothyprice9064 no he didn't - the Democrats were focused on changing the rules to cater to their vote-rigging strategy. They never focused on mail-in balloting before this election. That's why those previous elections were accepted by the public as a whole, no matter who won or lost. This time was different - the Democrats in particular were focused on changing the voting rules, because they were determined to win by that method, as opposed to campaigning on their policies, which they largely avoided this time.
1
@timothyprice9064 you seem to want to speak for the people - while you keep them gagged under lockdown. When the people protest (peacefully) to oppose your policies, then you label them "white supremacists" and warn of their "violent opposition". Meanwhile your preferred BLM protesters are burning and looting shops, which you claim is to support "human rights". You're the textbook definition of crooks, and nobody would want to call you their countryman.
1
The Army runs the show over there. Their elections are just a farce. This reporter is breathless as usual.
1
Nah, that would mean exposing the thin-skinned prince to public scorn
1
@tillygraham1572 don't worry, he'll make friends with ISIS just to balance things out ;p
1
@@pegger-uh8ek - he can't do anything illegal when he dictates the law "L'Etat C'est Moi, Trudeau"
1
@RYZ25008 Chinese can get way more intel too. It's just a low-tech balloon, what kind of intel are you hoping for? These things have been used since the Civil War era.
1
Canada shouldn't offer citizenship to terrorists wanted in other countries. Nijjar was wanted for the bombing of a cinema hall in India's Punjab, in which 6 innocents were killed.
