I don't think this govt is going to last the full term. The Liberal-NDP axis is going to be the only viable option for a legislative agenda, and it will rankle a lot of citizenry. This is going to be a government of strange bedfellows, with bizarre consequences during its term in office.
1
@panner11 you'd first need senate reform, and separation of powers for the legislature. Can't have a separate legislature with an unelected upper house.
1
No, you just don't understand half of the American people.
1
Amazing - but what's the specific technique that's achieved the breakthrough? There have been so many different attempts in so many different ways.
1
@Александр Царев - nah, this is the blitzkrieg - the response to it will soon be seen
1
@AlbertMark-nb9zo - China has been in the news for foreign interference long before India. Bringing up India doesn't give China a free pass - no matter how much Trudeau and his paid CBC mouthpieces want it to.
1
no farm reforms, no food 50% of population does farming, only producing a mere 15% of GDP. Other half of the population in non-farming industries produce 85% of the GDP. Those 50% who are less productive need to do their fair share, instead of trying to blackmail the other half of the country into paying up extortion money.
1
@Hat67 - where did you get this rubbish from? You're spewing fiction, hoping that by repeating it enough times, you can make it the "truth". This Brahmin-fixation is just a form of Shylock-baiting.
1
They could introduce their own regulatory legislation to address that
1
@zakirhossain9335 More of Kashmir was deteriorating under Article 370. Indian constitution has shown its fairness across India, and has better checks and balances than local Kashmir constitution. We cannot have "separate but equal" systems, like the slogan of Apartheid - this only promotes dysfunction.
1
the terrorists among them haven't - they want to live under Trudeau's umbrella
1
@Mitchell Andrew - I'm not sure if you're allowed to block Canadian mainstream media (bill C-11 has just now become law)
1
@Alex-js5lg - no, I don't agree - accusation must be backed by evidence - we have to see that evidence. An accused has a right to see the case & its evidence being cited against him. To live in a world where evidence is not required to support an allegation, is to live in a world where anyone can be accused of anything. For you to not understand this, tells me that you don't understand the basic rule of law.
1
Meanwhile in Islamabad they're clinking their glasses together
1
@Mark Donaldson - they have enough missiles to flatten the place. Nobody will be left alive to fire upon them like at Omaha beach. They can even cordon the place off, to cut it off from the rest of the world.
1
@markdonaldson7934 - Russia is the world's largest producer of fertilizer, and one of the largest producers of oil. How will you get Russia to stop providing these to China? Do you not even have basic knowledge of the world economy? If USMC couldn't grab Taiwan back then, they sure won't be able to now. They missed their chance.
1
Canadian Ski-Doos for Ukraine?
1
@carlyar5281 - Russian fighter aircraft 20 years ago? The Cold War was over then. Nobody wants to go up north to fight. Everybody in Canada would much rather fight for their motherlands - you know - the lands which they actually come from.
1
This show seems to be trafficking in innuendo more than anything else. Why not present evidence to support allegations?
1
standup comedy is you, Mr Kejriwal -- but nobody is laughing at your sick jokes
1
@stratford374 - Ed Broadbent did not have the same cronyist relationship with Pierre Trudeau that Jagmeet Singh has with Justin Trudeau.
1
@123xyzabccba "caste" is an english word, so how could it be found in geeta, ramayan, mahabharat? If some 20th-century person wrote their own copy of Geeta-Ramayan-Mahabharat, they could insert any word they want. You can't tell me such words were there in ancient times, because in ancient times Geeta-Ramayan-Mahabharat weren't even in written form.
1
@123xyzabccba - ohh, so now it's my caste loving gods. And which are your gods, sir?
1
@MK.7.7.7 - when media are Left-leaning by default, then you're happy. But as soon as they're not Left-leaning anymore, then you cry foul.
1
@YuvrajSingh-zr6uw - are you born yesterday? This same protest happened before, and was spearheaded by Sikhs. The "protesters" unleashed terrible violence in spite of having been given permission to march. They refused to negotiate with authorities on anything, and only wanted to pursue violence. Once again we see the same protesters coming from the same places in Punjab, while rest of country has no part in this. You can bury your head in the sand all you want, but it's very clear there's a political plot being carried out here.
1
@freddymercury2259 - Jatts have no special privilege to terrorize others with their violence. We saw how viciously they behaved in 2021, ambushing the capital with their unprovoked violence and mayhem. You will of course turn a blind eye to their wrongdoing, because you don't care. Your words aren't credible or believable.
1
@rakeshchand2463 - nope, anything you can point to in India, I can show existed in any other part of the world. "John Smith" (John whose people are smiths) "Tom Carver"(Tom whose people are carvers) "Brian Mason" (Brian whose people were masons). India had nothing different - it's only that the Brits had used their dominance over language to artificially frame history/traditions according to their own interests.
1
Justin Trudeau is the authoritarian -- just ask truckers who were arrested and vilified by him. Prince Justin never worked hard in his life. Narendra Modi, by contrast, comes from a poor background and had to work his way up. He's received the most electoral votes out of any elected person in world history. Go check on what Prince Justin's poll ratings are right now, and you'll see why he's pandering to the Khalistan lobby.
1
Trudeau is an embarrassment for Canada - as are those who put him in office
1
@Some Destiny fan ya know? - I know I'm not pro-colonialism because my parents were immigrants who had to live under it. I feel more concerned about faux virtue-signaling from you masking an intent to recreate colonialism over here in North America. Presumption of innocence helps protect people from colonial-style persecution and oppression. Nobody should want to live under a legal system that has been politically weaponized.
1
@@pranaysherke - where is the money coming from for this? That's not clear to me at all. I've never known Jagmeet to be good at math. I think he's just hiding from budgetary realities, like his buddy Justin.
1
You can't be too old or fragile - Margaret Atwood would have to hit the gym
1
@sohom004 - no you
1
CAUKUS you mean
1
@researchinmathematics675 - no, farmers are trying to blackmail the rest of the public into paying extortion. Foreign media and their masters are always only interested in one thing: regime change.
1
gentlemen, we cannot allow a mineshaft gap! or else Putin will dig the world out from under us 🧐
1
then any allegations would be quickly dismissed as Russian propaganda
1
catlover2543 immigration is not owed. Otherwise, give me your address so that I can come over and help myself to what I'm owed.
1
@MrLoobu - this time Washington pressuring for movement of German tanks to be re-started. We should let sleeping dogs lie, and bears too.
1
next he's going to warn about a "mineshaft gap"
1
@gryph01 - because he's the face of a ruthless regime determined to hang onto power by all means, including by weaponizing federal police to knock down political opponents, rivals and challengers. This is a very morally innovative regime, willing to resort to and justify any tactics.
1
Robert Clark I think you're just peddling any fantasy your imagination can come up with. You treat politics like a team sport -- your only aim is to score points for your team. You don't care about reality, or America's downward trajectory.
1
Nuland did say when she left that Russia was in for some "surprises". Now we can see what she meant. Crazy NeoCons will get us all killed.
1
@iExploder - this isn't about whether the guy has technical knowledge, it's about whether he has the professionalism and ethics to do what an opposition is supposed to do: criticize the ruling govt instead of behaving like a rubber-stamp and a Yes-man. I don't believe that those who voted for NDP did so with the intent that their party should rubber-stamp the Liberals -- otherwise, they would have just voted Liberal instead. Jagmeet isn't faithfully representing his party's voters, and is instead just colluding with Trudeau. Existing NDP voters need to do a re-think about whom they're going to vote for next time.
