  2. A rare disagreement from me. It's unobjectionable enough, but with 15 minutes to go - and after a couple of utterly cringe and disjointed CURRENT_YEAR interjections - I asked myself if I actually cared about what was happening, and it turned out that I didn't. I just wasn't invested enough, and it wasn't worth that last bit of my time, even at no cost.

  7. My teenage daughter got me to watch this. It took me a couple of episodes to get over the scepticism of something based on comic books or card games or whatever, but yes, it is fairly decent. I could do with a lot more steam in the punk, but the characterisation is indeed solid and compelling.

  44. Oh, the fancitement when they actually cast Rosario Dawson as Ahsoka. Before we realised that this wasn't Ahsoka, it was Ahsoka's gran. This is no criticism of Dawson, but casting a mid-40s downkey character actress to play a high-energy action character was always going to be a huge ask, even before they did the bait-and-switch to make this the Sabine Fetch-Quest Mystery-Sphere Show.
