*Immediately devises some completely Kerbal design to hit the ground at less than 12m/s.

@RogerM88 Even if the ship is getting heavier, the engines are getting more powerful. As of the latest update in February, Starship is still expected to be able to launch "in excess of" 100 tons to a low orbit.

@blackhatfreak One also has to be able to tell the difference between telling a lie, and telling the truth and then having the truth change.

This is not Minecraft. To build a gate exact replica, it would take up at least 64 chunks, with dozens of layers. This is assuming you are using RedPower or an equivalent at a vastly increased tick rate, as it would be completely impossible with normal redstone.
12
@lobsterbark I was thinking RedPower because it allows for integrated logic gates, and wires that can be placed on any surface and do not require repeaters. The mod also allows for combining up to 16 signals into 1 cable. I also mentioned increasing the tick speed so the computer would be faster.
9
@Ampelmannchen42 Also, they don't plan on launching the booster from other planets.
9
This computer is hardware accelerated, but designed for a completely different purpose. Anyway, a computer of that power could only run simple text based applications. To render a full video, it would take multiple years.
8
@rednammoc As someone not familiar with sign language, I assumed that it was only a means of sending text or common words. I imagine most people would assume the same.
8
Fly deadly.
7
I'm pretty sure he was referring to ionizing radiation and computer hardware. About how you can just use ECC instead of overpaying for Soviet era computers.
7
Don't fly too safe, however, or there won't be progress.
6
But why would a space tourist want to have the same gravity that they do on Earth, if the entire point of the trip is to be in space? Edit: This only applies to short trips, ranging between less than a minute to a few days. You would probably want artificial gravity during something longer, like a transfer to Mars.
5
@theg.c.142 Not because of it, but in spite of it.
4
Lacking a requirement to fly safe, the Insane American flew very deadly. *Dual Vulcan sound *GAU-8 sound *GBU-16 sound *AGM-65 sound *Various explosions Damage: about $1200000, 12 wounded.
4
@Nighterlev Without mods, building an AGC would not be possible, unless you wanted one that runs at a clock rate of about 0.1Hz. It might be possible to make one with command blocks in vanilla, but that is not redstone, and is not gate-exact. Some of the fastest vanilla computers that are designed to run in minecraft take several minutes to do simple multiplication.
4
@jasonudall8614 That, but it's rapid.
4
@5Andysalive Falcon 9 and Super Heavy are able to complete their mission with a 1st stage engine failure.
4
Next round: TweakScale is allowed.
4
Since I am no longer required to fly safe, I can now fly very deadly. *Dual Vulcan sound *GAU-8 sound *GBU-16 sound *AGM-65 sound *Various explosions Damage: about $1200000, 12 wounded.
4
Does the software used in this test still exist?
4
All you need is KSP and the BDArmory mod, which comes with an AI pilot.
4
how can it be Starfleet anyway, that's no Federation starship, Federation has an Enterprise, and that's not it.
3
@forgedabstract7288 Shadow of Intent could be a good name for the preliminary cargo pod dropped on Mars before the manned launch.
3
@Frenk Starship may be too big to dock with the ISS, even after it has been proven to be safe. In fact, it's big enough to be a space station itself.
3
@HeavyMetalRuinedMyLife1971a I think that's the lead or mercury talking. Anyway, the "ninja" equipment can be obtained at a local laboratory supply store.
3
It's a small rocket. Square cube law applies.
3
Yes.
3
Why did the capsule not have systems to jettison the parachutes upon splashdown?
3
Since I am no longer required to fly safe, I can now fly very deadly. *Dual Vulcan sound *GAU-8 sound *GBU-16 sound *AGM-65 sound *Various explosions Damage: about $1200000, 12 wounded.
3
KSP is designed to support mods, Minecraft is not.
2
i built a stock V1 that looks more like the actual thing, but it has issues flying, i think it needs another engine inside the first one.
2
BDArmory parts don't show up
2
There was also the insane person that started shooting things in an unknown pulsed detonation engine powered aircraft when they were no longer required to fly safe.
2
@wadewilson524 Launch abort is a lot of planning, paperwork, and red tape that simply isn't worth it for an uncrewed mission.
2
@thekaiser4333 it won't, even if your nozzle sprays it perfectly.
2
Is it a problem that I am not confused by AGC videos, and actually find them easy to understand?
2
@helicocktor Reverting flights (and quicksaves) are disabled in the difficulty options.
2
No. We fly deadly.
2
That is impossible. What would prevent the edges from flying away? KSP physics won't permit that anyway.
2
@captainmaim Real life reaction wheels get saturated.
2
The computer has no audio output. Doing the same to a computer with that capability would simply cause it to crash.
2
@doooofus Haven't heard about this. How does it work and what version was it added in?
2
Doesn't B9 still work?
2
It uses a system far more advanced than MechJeb. It also has a planned mission, which significantly decreases the probability of running out of fuel and being stranded.
2
You could probably just stick a $30 camera on a piece of metal at the end of a wire. You would also need a gas vent to push it away from the ship, and a mechanism to pull it back in, like a spool and a small DC motor.
2
Probably game files or a clock. Scott said it was world domination plans.
1
No, only warp 0.1. (?)
1
compare to warp in Star Trek (voyager, it's newer) 1 warp isn't velocity 0 powered by an antimatter reactor etc...
1
Probably game files, or a clock, or a window (that would prove he's not actually on a Mac).
