@gvirusqueen3559 First: 2A was put in place to keep the government from becoming a tyranny, in order that you stand a fighting chance should they attempt that. To do away with "something that can clear a room full of people" is opening the door to that possibility [of the government becoming a tyranny]. Should that happen, what will you fight them off with? Snap pop guns? And if you don't think there's a possibility of the government becoming a tyranny because "that can't happen in America", you are VERY naive.
Second: guns that "can clear a room full of people" aren't the major cause of gun deaths. They aren't anywhere CLOSE. And they aren't the weapon of choice in this instance. PISTOLS are. I'll let you guess who uses guns the most, and I'll give you a hint: they aren't "White supremacists". In fact, they aren't any kind of White at all. Pointing out this FACT has become "racist" however. (The government denying FACTS is already getting too close to becoming a tyranny for my comfort).
Third: to repeat- for the vast majority of the nation's existence (up until VERY recently in fact), there were little- zero gun restricting laws, while simultaneously, things like this just didn't happen. Why all of the sudden are guns responsible? What's your reasoning that while gun laws became more strict, gun "incidences" (for lack of a better term so that WokeTube doesn't delete me) skyrocketed in recent times?
These are all undeniable facts, regardless of what you think or say.

@christophermacintyre5890 "To think they would waste their time with us lot is somewhat stupid, too, though." If we had the ability to travel light years and discovered life on other planets, guaranteed we would do it. If we discovered civilized species on these planets, you can rest assured we would be most interested in these species. Even if we knew of a multitude of planets where this was the case, we'd still be interested in each and every one, even if they were less advanced than is, as most likely, each one would be different having taken different evolutionary paths. Seeing as how humans are the only species on Earth that meets this criteria, it is not somewhat stupid to think they'd "waste" their time on us. In fact, it'd be somewhat stupid to think they wouldn't.
