Time for the government to come clean with the people and just say, inflation (a tax on everyone, but especially the poor) is something they brought us and something we have to pay, because we have to print money and send it to Ukraine, we have to print money to pay off our mounting debts, we have to print money to cover the costs of paying perfectly healthy people to stay home and not work during covid. just tell us all this pain is because of the decisions they made.

  25.  @AtheistEve  keep in mind, when you are a poor family in Donetsk and the Azov brigade are shelling your city day in and day out, it is not so easy to just leave everything behind and scramble over a war zone to the border. have a heart! Russia wisely aided the DPR and LPR in their struggle for autonomy and then for independence. Shame on NATO for backing the aggressors in this conflict.

  32. As a Russia supporter, I certainly do hope NATO decides to send in a lot more tanks. Russia will just destroy them, as it has done to much of Ukraine's previously massive fleet of tanks, and so demilitarization of NATO can proceed apace.

  33.  @AtheistEve  the problem is, Russia saw how the USA refused to allow any Soviet missiles in Cuba, and decided Russia had the same right to refuse Ukraine entry into NATO. It is the West that set all the precedents. the problem is, Russia saw US and NATO military intervention in Serbia, Iraq, Afghanistan, Iraq again, Libya, Syria and the list goes on, so Russia just copied the precedent already set. When there was a "civil dispute" between Nazi Germany and its Jewish citizens, did anyone have the right to intervene militarily? yes, or no?

US summer temperatures were MUCH higher in the 1930's. The number of places in the US that get over 100F is way down on a century ago.
