America has made a golden calf religion out of laissez-faire capitalism, and acts like the invisible hand will save us if we just stop trying to restrict it and put our faith in it to catch us once the last regulation is removed so it can finally carry us to prosperity.

  39. Idk, but without having a 2nd child to take care of like she does, tbh I would try to remove as many of those responsible for this from the earth before I was taken down. Real justice is preferable to raw vengeance, of course, but if our justice system is so dysfunctional that it cannot/will not punnish such heinous crimes, in my anger and grief I expect I would seek to level an older form of punishment in leu of the justice denied to me and the dead.
