Marxman no, but it is a core American value and our constitution does protect it more than many other nations. More to the point though, it's an inseparable part of America, so other nations also valuing it doesn't change that undermining it is unamerican

@antediluvianatheist5262 there's no "hope" about it. This is proven to be a factor in why Bernie consistently overperforms his poll numbers. We need to push that margin up as high as we can to counter DNC fuckery, but the polls will always underpoll Bernie.

@jameshumphrey9939 even the ones that use cell phones are polling likely voters (which often excludes infrequent voters) so Bernie is basically always underpolled.

Neutrality≠objectivity The news is supposed to be objective, not neutral. Quit your whining.
1
@sark4786 no, one does not at all presuppose the other. Look up "neutrality bias".

@sark4786 one doesn't at all presuppose the other. The truth is not dead center between 2 sides. To be objective necessitates being able to call out lies. See "neutrality bias" and the "golden mean fallacy"

Got a link for that one by chance. They need blasted all over social media for that.

It didn't save France, so maybe not the best plan

The laws of physics do not compromise. "The middle ground" on climate change means (at best) taking out a loan against the futures of younger generations against their objections to be paid back in money and blood at loan shark interest rates and calling it "profits" Unsustainable economies make no profits. They simply steal from the future just as slave owners stole from those they enslaved. We must make the distinction between wealth creation and wealth acquisition!

@Unclejamsarmy have you considered the policies one has to put in place to make WV useful for coal (such as that absense of a good education, which I don't give a fuck if the adults don't like, the kids have a right to) or just the rapant ecological damage might interfere with other options? Maybe putting wind turbines on top of mountains and dams in the valleys would make more sense if there weren't coal companies buying up the mountains to take the tops off rip out the coal and dump the waste in the valleys. Resource extraction economies tend to not put much resources into developing infrastructure or the people, but those are policy choices. We could make different ones and still have a productive WV (with less externalized costs) than what we have if people like you weren't trying to find reasons to justify writing off whole regions just because of how the "free market" uses them.

osborne007 yeah right, fuck fixing everything and everyone that gets born there. Let's just abandon a whole fucking state because we don't like the people we've left uneducated and desperate /s Go fuck yourself. You'll spend less time damaging the causes you think you support.

@johnmartin4641 tell me you're a pedophile without telling me you're a pedophile. Stay the fuck away from children!

The first 2 rights laid out in the first amendment are freedom from religion and freedom of religion and in that order. "Separation of church and state" is just another way to say the same thing.
