They caused this. Had they not gone after him like they did, this wouldn't have happened. His escape from death, I think, cemented his resolve more than anything else. He believes God saved him to do this, and he's not going to let them stop him.

Exactly. Had he been here under Biden he'd have seen much less smiling. Still polite, but a feeling of concern in the air. I felt an almost immediately lift in attitude when Trump won.

17:10 Why isn't it "common" anymore? Because ya'll decided to abandon it. Far too many powerful countries within the EU decided to abandon free speech and free expression to give the appearance of order. It's not true order as your citizens are attacked from within. You'd rather crush your own citizens than admit that magical soil isn't true. Violating the entire point of the existence of the government you hold so dear. The government exists to protect its citizens from outside forces. There's little difference between what you're doing and France during WWII, welcoming Germany in instead of protecting their people from an invading force.

This is a weird new age argument I’ve seen about the horrors Germany committed. Their souls wanted to go, they knew they had no future, etc. Meanwhile these same people will mock religion while creating a new one.
32
I wish it was just sugar. It's massive amounts of chemicals.
31
Yes. Right now, it's more focusing on getting everything in order and the audit done. The administration isn't even confirmed and in place yet. Once that's accomplished, I expect bills to start hitting the Congressional floor.
26
Yep. We've won this major battle, but the war rages on.

@angelaharris53 I had a female friend boohooing in a bathroom while we were shopping for a dress for a funeral. An ex-boyfriend had died. She hadn’t gone out with him in years and she was acting like her husband had died. I’d finally had enough and told her to stop it. It’s not about her. His family were hurting far more than her and get it together. Basically calling her a drama queen trying to take attention from people far closer to him than she was. She immediately stopped and actually thanked me. Sometimes you just have to give them a reality check and swift kick in the bum. Edit: I’d had a guy I was dating die in a car accident and I was supposed to be with him and I didn’t act like that. To give an idea of the histrionics she was doing.

These are the same people that say “You value your property more than the life of the person taking it” instead of “The person taking my stuff values my property more than their life”. It twists responsibility onto the victim instead of the person victimizing.
24
West Virginia is gorgeous land. You must not be southern because we don't put down our fellow southern states. I'd rather live rural than deal with the rudeness and filth of a city.

@sedoskovelha123 I see this online but not much irl. Both my sons and their friends don’t do that. They highly value family. I’m Gen X and raised them to think for themselves. To reject peer pressure and be who and what they wanted regardless of the world around them. I did strictly limit their screen time and encouraged socializing face to face by having their friends over constantly. Our house was always full on the weekends. I know their friends except one was raised similarly. So I reject this characterization of them. I think because we’re feed a loop of the others because it gets attention we’ve been conditioned to view them as the norm when I don’t believe it is. I do believe they’re lost. That they don’t know what they’re supposed to do, but I don’t believe they want it.
15
@BLRodgers This! I heard Millennials described as the 2nd family of Gen X parents. They’d felt they screwed up with Gen X by never paying us attention and went ultra hard the other way after their divorces and remarriages. That they had to make up for us. We were pretty much a feral generation and it’s really odd to see such a sharp turn in parenting with the following one. You’d see a slight shift starting mainly in the upper class that eventually trickled down, but never such an almost universal sharp turn. I do know a study about self esteem came out that turned things education wise drastically. As usual they failed to understand the findings. It said early success showed improved self esteem and high self esteem meant later success in life. That’s where everyone gets a trophy comes from. They thought they could artificially create self esteem. The education thing comes from the Department of Education becoming way more hands on in state education. Edit: I was one of the hardcore in Gen X. Partied like crazy in my teens, listened to punk and heavy metal, rejected conformity. Later studies showed we ended up the most well adjusted.

@StimParavane I like the story of the guy who stole the secret to making purple dye. He barely escaped with his life.

@voomvoom4522 Women evolving to be best suited for child rearing and men forming culture around the protection of women being the ones that can give birth and necessary for survival isn’t genetics influencing culture? I understand the knee jerk reaction but it destroys science out of this desire to be PC. How other people choose to twist knowledge doesn’t make having the knowledge bad.
11
I’m Gen X. Even though I listened to heavy metal and mocked the protesters at the concerts I did not go down your path. My parents were conservative but not the crazy restrictive type. They allowed us to dress funny and make our own friends. We also were poor so we all worked as soon as we were allowed by law to buy things we wanted. Needs were met but wants were our own to provide. So we were all very responsible. I didn’t get married until 25, but that was 3rd engagement so it wasn’t a lack of offers. We immediately had 2 kids pretty much back to back and I was a stay at home mom which is what I wanted. I wanted to be there for my kids and do the things my mother couldn’t because she worked. I know she hated it too.

@severian1968 That was the first pizza. Every culture has a type of bread with something on it if that's what you're attempting to say was pizza before that. He invented it and he named it.

Again these people don’t take what they’re proposing to it’s logical conclusion. That’s the problem with these philosophers. They seem to think philosophy means throwing logic out the window.
9
I listened to experts. Just not the ones pushed by the state and pharmaceutical companies. When they hushed a Nobel prize winner is when I knew for sure people like him are who I should be listening to.
9
Oh that’s another insufferable one. Especially when those “adults” act like overgrown children. A slave to their emotions.

Hopefully, the current revolution that's going on here in the US will inspire others like our first one did. It can be done. It's not instant and takes years of small movements coming together to create a big one, but it can happen. Eventually they'll go too far and the tide will turn.
8
@huevote9474 I mean, they kicked Biden and slid Kamala right in. Like a well oiled machine. If they want that, fine. That's their choice. We just have to hope most don't feel the same.

@grafvonscyth2928 That's not what happened during the winter. The animals still needed care. In fact, much greater care, so they weren't lost to the winter, and then no new births for spring. Including guarded because preditors were very hungry as food was scarce. Every farm had some animals. Inside, clothing is being made and mended. Blankets crafted so the family doesn't freeze to death. I don't understand why people think winter was leisure time. It was just a different type of work being done. Vikings, for example, would join the women in making sails and ships would be fixed or made. Preparing for the spring when they'd set sail again. I come from many generations of farmers. It's not what you and others try to romanticize it to be. You have maybe 2 months when something isn't being done to the fields. That's occupied by feeding the animals with the hay you've stored and keeping them alive, stretching the food you preserved, drying seeds to plant in the spring, and fixing anything that broke or tore. There are still people that live just like back then and not just the Amish. Winter was just as busy as any other time of year. Just not outside as much.

He makes note that humans are considered the weakest race and easiest to corrupt. It was never grey morality. It was just humans are easily lead by their emotions which is what makes them so easy to corrupt. All of those were simple emotions, not a morality issue. Denethor was corrupted.
7
@Friggsdottir They we’re led to believe absurdities. I guess we should ignore history to protect you from offense. I notice you didn’t attempt to defend the other atrocities committed by other groups. Why is that? Every single group listed loved their country so that’s completely irrelevant to the actions committed as a result.
7
@newdivide9882 This is where men not understanding women comes into play. Women are naturally unconfrontational. We don't like to be attacked and will do almost anything to avoid it. It makes sense from a survival standpoint. We're smaller and weaker so not being confrontational, we survive. Which is also roundabout what Carl is saying. Attacking us isn't going to change anything. We'll simply retreat to where we're not being threatened. I have come under attack on social media by other women multiple times. We DO understand other women and know that most can't stand against it. I can, but I'm a tomboy so naturally have a few masculine traits. Most women can't and will revert to getting in line to get along. Edit: It's why socially women have been who keeps other women in check. It wasn't men doing the shaming.
7
It’s horrible. Even when it’s one you really didn’t want. I had 2 as a teenager. That I still remember them speaks volumes about it. Edit: The only good thing was because of them when I got pregnant after getting married (or the day before) it gave my doctor a heads up to watch for complications very early in the pregnancy. That helped save my 25 year old son. The issue was found early and precautions were taken to help prevent it.

They're aware of that. They did create their own varieties. Any pasta recipe that uses olive oil or butter and herbs are the oldest Italian recipes.
6
Welcome! I'm just north of Texas in Oklahoma.
6
They always were. They're also not polite but instead rude. At least on the west coast. I lived near Vancouver and couldn't wait to get back down south. That was over 20 years ago and I doubt it's improved. I was told the center was much better. That it's the south of Canada. I assume the reputation comes from them.
6
Yes. They do. They see themselves as untouchable and divine. The disdain they have for regular people, especially the ones that dare not vote for them, is palpable.
6
My husband is Canadian and was shocked by how polite and friendly everyone was when he moved here. He understood then why living in Canada was so stifling to me. The first time he went to visit his family he kept pointing out how this or that wasn't necessary here because people would just stop and let you in line in traffic or wave you to go ahead.
5
@ThingsThatIDo Everything comes from them. Our laws, too. It's why in Supreme Court decisions, you'll see them site going back to English common law. The recent Roe V Wade decision is an example of that. The only thing really different is we replace our king every 4 years. Even Congress until how the Senate was chosen was changed. It was our House of Lords because they were sent by the state legislature to represent the state's interest.

Like it or not right wing men are going to have to figure out it takes other women to correct women. Our social groups are extremely important. Men can't fill that role. They can continue to attack right wing women and removing anyone that can cause other women to change and be aline and keep losing. Or they can stop and let the women do what we're supposed to and be the ones correcting and shaming other women. They want traditional roles while refusing to abide by them themselves. I see a bunch of whiny men in the comment section of this video. You don't deserve a lady like me. Make no mistake, I am a lady. I'm just as comfortable sitting around a bonfire as am all dressed up at an opera and I know what's expected of me in both places. I am a reflection of my husband and his ability to provide for me. I do a million little things everyday just to make his life a little bit easier. Every man I've ever known has told me "You're the kind of girl you marry. Not fool around with". At least 90% of you wouldn't even be worth my time because you could never provide me with what I'm worth. It's not money either or I would have never married my husband. It's a high level of kindness and respect that I deserve. We watch very closely how a man treats other women. So if you're running around being rude and mean to other women, you're never going to get one of us because eventually that'll be how you treat us. That's why traditionally men didn't police women.
5
@habibishapur What “truth”? Do you think nihilism is new? Please. It’s fine to understand your place in the universe and how small you truly are. It’s weak to stay in it instead of understanding that just makes the impact you have on the other small parts of the universe that much more important. Our impact is through those we encounter and that’s enough because it has meaning to them no matter how small.
5
We did it! And he's doing it!!
5
@racheljames7 My 25 and 24 year old sons are too. As are all their friends except 1. It’s why I don’t believe the hype. It’s obviously women are more susceptible to this and more and more of them are also rejecting it.
5
@mike7652 You like many confuse common curtesy with respect. What we call politeness. That's not respect. That's how society interacts with one another in public spaces to prevent conflicts because conflicts can cause death or serious injury to innocent bystanders. Respect is deference. Someone that has earned the respect of an individual or a community is going to be treated far better than a stranger even if you personally don't know them. My grandfather had earned the respect of the community. Even though we were poor, we'd be invited to rich people's houses to eat so they could consult him and get his opinion on things. That's respect. Totally different than simple curtesy
4
@deleted01 Then obviously they shouldn’t exist ever. Whoops! End of the species. Oh look! They DO have “value”.
4
@swaythegod5812 The same thing that makes me Native American. Are you daft? My bloodline makes me one. Do you not understand what indigenous means? Or do you think only darker skinned people are indigenous to a place in the world? Edit: It’s really confusing that you think it’s not okay for the tribes of a particular skin color to not recognize themselves as such while crying about the protection of mine.
4
@hariman7727 How was a human being that lived a satire. A satire of what? If you're in the West, your entire moral framework is from what you're calling a satire. I'd love for you to explain what He was a satire of.
4
@greaser1945 Presbyterian seems to be the worst about it. To be completely fair to that group, they've split and only part of it does it and part of it doesn't. I grew up in a non denominational church that was very strict. If it didn't say it in the Bible, we didn't do it.
4
I don't understand this comment. This video you clearly didn't watch is about how much he loved it and wished he could bring some of it back to England. Him being in a Confederate uniform is because he visited the south and loved the southern hospitality.
3
@DevastationMtrsports Things are not real just because you believe they are. That means there’s no such thing as hallucinations (which we can scientifically prove happen) and schizophrenia isn’t a mental illness. I’m seriously curious if people like you ever think beyond the single thing they want to be true to see and understand the full implications of what you’re saying.
3
Thank you for calling it that! That’s what it’s always been called and now it appears to no longer be so.
3
There's confusion because Tolkien never specified how they came to be. The one in the Silmarillion is the 3rd book, which Tolkien didn't put together. He published the first 2. The last was compiled by his son of his writings after his death. There are 3 different ways Tolkien toyed with and they're all in books published after his death from his writings.
3
@tonycooke8545 No. Both are submissive to each other. Because it's the woman saying that, it's obviously bad. Submission in this context means putting the needs of someone else above your own desires. For example, I could go out and buy something really expensive I'd love to have, but that will put a burden upon my husband to then work harder to replace it if it's not something we've budgeted for. That works both ways. If the husband does the same, it puts a burden on the wife when buying food and purchasing essentials for the family.
3
They're coming to Oklahoma too. According to one expert it's the largest migration in US history. It's the West and Northeast heading in land and south. My husband just had 3 Californians hired at his refinery and we live in a more rural area. To be fair though, all oil refineries in California are closing due to taxes and regulations making it impossible to run them there. Edit: My son lives 3 hours away from us in a seriously rural area and he works with 2.
3
It was never that. It’s equality under the law. That’s even expressly stated. Equality by the government. It’s pretty clear in the Constitution since the document is just about government. It’s why they slowly shifted to equity. Now you hear equity instead of equality. Equity is equal outcome. Equality isn’t.
3
I’m the opposite. I moved from a black majority town to Oklahoma and never felt so comfortable in my life. I’m Native and yt and now surrounded by both.
3
Yes. I’m one of them.
