ShortfatOtaku took that stance when going over it. If this speech was in a vacuum I could see that, but it's not. It's after years of Democrat politicans calling for violence against anyone that disagrees with them, the administration labeling parents terrorists, and him repeatedly calling all Republicans a threat to democracy whenever they won't vote for his legislation. This is a guy that calls requiring ID to vote extreme and a threat to democracy. Edit: It's funny when he addresses the nation, he tries to talk like Trump. Remember the State of the Union which was full of Trump's platform?

@antistupid4712 It wasn't really $50 million and they knew it. He's demonitized which means he loses 20% of the entire contract every year. It's closer to $10 million with him taking all production costs plus having to make and fund a documentary that they'll reimburse him about $1.5 million of the cost of. So he better make sure it's cheap or he'll owe them for that too. The contract would be 12.5 million a year with him only being paid 5% of it, because it's already split into 4 years so 25%. They take 20% of that 25% every year because he's demonitized and he's only being paid/offered 5%. That's not including losing another 20% if he just gets a strike. He'd owe them pretty quickly. It is extremely predatory.

It's really upsetting. After watching them so carefully seperate themselves from these people during the main movement only to see them now take it over is stomach turning. I've seen the people that were in it being removed from the parades, if they even go. I've even seen them attacked. In my capital, there are 2 separate celebrations. There's a parade in the gay district that's a normal one as in no kids and no sex. Then there's one through the main part that's the debauchery one. You'd think it would be the other way around. Edit: "Queer" will always be a derogatory term no matter how much straight people with kinks try to use it.

@Berserker006 I understand what that person is saying and I agree to an extent. The casting couch was well known in Hollywood long before he even came around. They say everyone knew but nobody said anything publicly. Meaning all those women knew and made a choice to further their careers and desires to be famous. That's not excusing the appart legitimate couple of grapes, but most of his "accusers" were willing participants.
11
Even the moderator was taken aback.
11
I actually tend to agree. This would fall under letting a community decide for itself in libertarianism.
11
@RunninUpThatHillh I don't think the government should have bailed them out. That said, it was the government's fault. Policies were put in place to basically force banks to give home loans to people that would never qualify normally. It was for home ownership "equity". To try to protect themselves they pushed fluctuating rate loans. It was also people's fault for choosing those loans over a standard loan and using them to purchase more than they knew they could afford. A lot of credit cards have those same fluctuating interest rates.
11
In his Q and A he explained that he's aware his name attached to something generates a large number of clicks and interest. So that's why he's doing it this way and making sure he's attached to it. It makes it harder to ignore.
11
@jackvancekirkland Israel doesn't surround them so how could they have "locked you in a concentration camp"? It's only on the northern border of the area. What about the other countries? Don't even attempt to say Israel controls those Muslim countries.
11
It's so creepy. His handlers really need to tell him to stop.
11
I only caught the last part live and was like "is this a war time speech? Are we going to war?". Then when I caught the first bit my eyes almost popped out of my head. That was insane and indefensible. Fortunately it seems to have had the opposite effect than intended.
11
How? They still have to prove it. This just lowers the amount of damage required to bring one. I wasn’t aware it had to be significant. Discrimination is illegal and that’s all that should need to proven.
10
@JaneDoe-ob3tq If they live in Ukraine and are Ukrainian citizens, they are Ukrainian. That's how nations work. They started a Civil war, so Ukraine again has no right to defend it's land? Those Russians with help from Putin have been killing Ukrainians just like they've been killing Moldovans, but that's fine right?
10
Add in the new tax for every mile I drive.
10
I liked him at first, but it didn't take long for suspicions to kick in. When he said no to not allowing Congress members to trade that's when he went full mask off for me. I know a lot like him, but Cotton isn't what he appears either. He ran for Senate before his first term as Rep was up and gained a lot of money in a very short time there. 3 million his first year.
10
That's what inevitably will happen in the articles talking about it. First they tell me "it's not made for you!" Then get mad when I don't go see it.

Chihuahuas are the breed that's the worst biters and most aggressive. Weenie dogs are up there too. The difference isn't just size, it's jaw strength. I tend to gravitate to herding dogs. They don't have the jaw strength to even break skin because they were bred to nip at the heels of sheep or cows, but not be able to harm them. So even though size/weight wise they are large dogs, they just aren't capable of ripping someone's face off.
10
It's both, not either or. 2/3rds for it to pass the legislature. Ratified by 3/4s of states to go into effect.
10
That's only if things are going good or at least not bad. Most of the population would currently support his removal. Especially using the 25th. Using that though would in turn damage Trump due to age. He's committed enough crimes to warrant an impeachment and once they're laid out in total in front of the public I do believe it would have massive support. Even though it means we get Kamala.

@Prosecute-fauci This is getting rid of something already made that mostly helps disabled people practice their 2nd amendment rights. It's not forcing a company to do anything. The Act goes beyond that. It's been used to provide brail voting ballots and devices for the hearing impaired in places like museums. It's making sure disabled people aren't denied their rights due to their disability. The access to buildings part is about freedom of movement. Edit: Instead of just reading an Act, you also need to read the court cases that are attached to it. That's how the Act is being interpreted by the courts which directly impacts its application. These braces were first made for disabled people so it's easier for them to use firearms. The government putting an added tax on it would be like them putting a tax stamp on wheelchairs because other people than just disabled found a use for them.

@elcidS15 People in the armed forces can die outside of any offical war. See Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria, etc. We have troops involved in several conflicts around the world. That's not including training accidents, being killed by traffickers, or in rescue attempts.

Sorry Styx, once the attacker tries to retreat, self defense is over. The girl in pink was trying to retreat and the other girl was now chasing her. She is now the aggressor and self defense shifts to the girl in pink. If the girl with the knife is the one that called police, her self defense argument ended when she escaped and entered the home. When she came out with a knife to reengage, she's now the aggressor. Colin Nior (sp) went over this very well in the R*ttenhouse video. Edit: If someone that's trying to kill you tries to run away and you chase them down and kill them, that's murder not self defense because at the time you killed them you weren't in danger.

For Shatner it's how he has branded himself. Like John Wayne branded himself as a tough guy even though he'd never been in a fight or war. Shatner does similar as being a man's man but adds comedy to it. Takei in his later years unfortunately decided to brand himself as a stereotypical feminine gay man. If you look back into his career, even after he first came out, he didn't do that. He maintained a certain amount of dignity and respect. His current persona gets him far more attention so it's the one he's sticking with.
9
I don't know why they push her. She screamed about voter fraud and claimed she won. I'd think that's a topic they'd want to avoid.
9
He forgot he said that the next day. A reporter asked him about saying that and he denied he ever said it. He just reads the teleprompter and doesn't pay attention to what it says.
9
@darknotered7425 Thank goodness you don't make the laws then.
9
I watched it live on streams. It wasn't staged. They were screaming at him to say Breanna Taylor's name. "Say her name" like good little commies. We were concerned because one went into the hotel behind him. I guess they were staying there. I wonder where they got that $.
9
Considering he admits to hitting on straight men even knowing full well they are it's not surprising.
9
@maxpowers9129 Between that and all his Civil war is coming videos, it's exhausting. Yesterday's civil war was hilarious. He doesn't know anything about laws or how jurisdiction works. Every scenario he could think of that would spark it over abortion already has court cases on other issues that address it. My favorite was a father not wanting the abortion so taking the woman to court to stop it. Like that hasn't happened in the 50 years since Roe.
9
They tend to be because they tend to be traditionalists and religious. Yet they still vote Democrat. The reason some, particularly ones from Cuba and Venezuela, are changing to Republican is because they have heard the rhetoric that Democrats spout before. When the Cubans and ex Soviets started sounding the alarm about what Democrats were saying, I paid attention. They know far better than me what proceeded their downfall.
9
@aceboog4546 It's funny that you call the GOP racist when it's the Democrats that write and champion racist legislation, even now. The crime bill and the vaccine mandates disproportionately affect minorities negatively. This bill increases those mandates and will destroy even more minority owned businesses and put even more out of work, but you cheer it on because you don't really care about minorities. All you care about is your tribe. I know you're just a troll, but thank you for giving me a perfect setup to point out the racist nature of these Democrat Bill's. If only 1 person reads my response and that encourages them to look into it, that's one more I've sent on the journey of truth.
9
I disagree. He's wanted to be President since he started in politics in the 70s. This was his 3rd attempt. Had it not been for that, then you might have a case. They managed to rebrand him as this grandfatherly figure and people bought it. Mainly because he'd been out of Congress long enough that young people don't know his history and the only thing they know is he was Obama's VP. Politics has gotten so dirty that someone that's been caught repeatedly lying and plagiarizing, so much that he had to drop out two previous times, and the MSM was able to just erase it all.
9
@limitlessapocalypse2702 The FBI have already dropped that angle and are now saying Biden removed Trump's privilege and reclassified the documents. That's always been the problem with blue anon. Y'all don't keep up with what's going on and get stuck on last weeks talking point that was fed to you.
9
That wasn't NATO forces. That was a coalition that included some NATO member countries. Pretty sure he said he was against that war also. People seem to not understand that NATO has a military of it's own. Explain how that's different than Russia, Belarus, Syria, and China working together against Ukraine. That's the problem when you try to justify a current coalition by damning a previous one. You're only pointing out why the current one is bad too.
9
Should have been. Unfortunately 2020 saw record votes for each candidate. All due to mass mail in ballots. One thing it showed is there's a lot of people who are registered to vote that can't be bothered to and that ballot harvesting isn't a good thing. With mail in voting, enthusiasm means nothing. It's enthusiasm that makes people get up and go vote.
9
@fraserfir19 I'm in a state West of the Mississippi and it's no drier than usual. We're still in winter. After Easter is when you plant because after that is least likely for frost. Now is when you start your seeds indoors for plants that do best as transplants like tomatoes so they'll be ready by April. My family have been farmers for generations. Rainy season is late March and April.
9
Sounds like you got deported. Having been through the immigration process 3 times feel free to ask if you need help understanding the paperwork for the wife and kiddo. Kiddo is pretty easy. Just be sure to report a birth abroad at a port of entry or embassy.
9
I've never laughed so hard on an election night. It restored my faith in being able to make a difference.
9
There's a reason they say Jamaican instead of black. Jamaican isn't a race.
9
Ducey called her out on that and it was one specific program that was down 90%. He asked her where she got that from when according to Border Patrol they're at record highs and up 20% this month from last month.
9
@juicyjumbler When you resort to personal attacks, is when you've lost the debate. In a debate both sides don't agree and probably won't. The point is to state both your sides so the audience understands them because they are who you are trying to convince. Resorting to personal attacks just shows your arguments are weak and can't stand up on their own merits against you opponent.
9
I think DeSantis got exposed. Which honestly I'm glad it happened now before 2028. It looks like he wasn't the one behind a lot of the stuff he takes credit for. It appears most of his good decisions were coming from the legislature instead of him and he just took credit. I do know a lot of his culture war talking points came from his wife who was the one that paid attention to it. Maybe now that she's got more important personal things to deal with he's listening to the wrong people on it.
9
Been experiencing that for decades. Just wait until their kids enter school and can't speak English. Then you're education funding will go to English as a Second Language classes for them instead of being put toward your children. It's great.
9
@XanVicious At least Carter had a real energy crisis because there was a real concern oil was going to run out rather than a government manufactured one.
9
Congratulations!!! Babies are awesome! Everything will change. What's important will change, but in a good way. Snuggle both of them lots. Help mom so she can rest because this is going to be stressful for her. No matter how prepared you are, it's still exciting and terrifying all at once.
9
@FreedomInc His tax cuts reduced them for 80% of taxpayers. I don't know how you get that's only a lucky few. You're being extremely dishonest. The border is the way it is right now because Biden is now in office. It has nothing to do with Trump. The illegal immigrants are proudly saying so. We had negative immigration under Trump because people were self deporting. His reduction in regulations saw economic growth we hadn't seen in decades. The wall ended up the way it did because he took input from the people that work on the border and took their advice. Oh the horror!😱 He made insulin affordable again. He was trying to remove our troops but got overridden by Congress because we have this thing called separation of powers. He was in the process of moving a lot of production out of China and into Taiwan. He was refusing to sign the Patriot Act until it was reformed. I don't like the bump stock ban, that he didn't address 230, and I don't like his pardons. I still think he did a lot of good and kept more promises than any candidate in my lifetime, and that goes back to Carter. Especially considering he was under impeachment and fighting his own party for the majority of his term. Edit to add: Almost everything you've complained about is happening now under Biden and wasn't under Trump. That's because Biden signed a massive number of Executive Orders, the most in history, to undo everything Trump did.
9
Not just that. It talks about how they got BLM and Antifa to do their bidding. They are indeed the Brown shirts.
8
The federal government has nothing to do with that. That's your local government. Just like you pay income taxes to the federal government and then the state. Or pay sales tax which goes to the state. An important part of civics is knowing which government is over what.
8
@lowki07 It's not a right because it's not in the Constitution. You can add it to the Constitution to make it one. This idea if calling anything you want or agree with a right is a big issue. Nothing that requires the labor of another person can be a "right". If you make the labor of another person a right, it's no different than slavery. Edit: You could make the same argument for slavery back in the day. Just because the majority supports something, doesn't make it a right.
8
@weneedcriticalthinking So that 5th largest economy in the world has terrible education since they produced a multigenerational citizen that can't speak the language. You said you type how you talk before you attempt that how can you hear me BS. Meanwhile a "taker" state (we aren't but you wouldn't understand if I tried to explain it) produced a multigenerational US citizen , English ancestors immigrated here before the US existed and my Native ancestors were here for at least 10,000 years, has a better command of the language and able to express thoughts coherently. It's true money can't buy everything and you're exhibit A.
