It was reported when Zaslav did his walkthrough at CNN, that on air personalities were told they had to come off as nonpartisan or their jobs would be in jeopardy. Potato man apparently wasn't convincing. Basically anyone that has a long track record of painting things a certain way will most likely be cut. They've built up an audience strictly on doing that and it will be near impossible for regular people to tune back in to the same people suddenly saying the complete opposite.

Gabe quit when they removed the American way from Superman's moto. That's when and why the noped out. He or his parents are immigrants and he's very grateful to be in the US so he just couldn't stomach that turn away DC was doing. Eric heard about it and got in contact. Then Brooks started talking about how much Gabe sucked as a colorist and was just nonstop attacking him and Eric. That's how all that got started. Brooks threatened to beat up Gabe if he saw him on the con circuit so Gabe walked by his booth, took a photo, and posted it. Brooks freaked out and called security because his mouth wrote a check his butt couldn't cash. Edit: I don't know why but Eric and Gabe's success seems to have completely broken him and pushed him over the edge.

Unions can't really do anything about layoffs other than have in the contract that it's to be done by seniority. A layoff means the company is decreasing the workforce due to money issues. Completely different than getting fired which is what Unions protect you from. You got laid off because you were lower on the totem pole having only been there 2 years.

It's not even that she's evil. She screws everything up. So she's bad at being evil. Which will no doubt come into play later in her inevitable very quick redemption into a bigger hero than Obi Wan.

If they are going off this show, none of that is true here. Celeborn isn't in it, Galadriel has no daughter for Elrond to marry. The dialog between them in the trailers made no sense because he wouldn't talk to his mother-in-law like that.

@Ghoxtfire You realize this started under Obama right? Antifa has been attacking people in Portland for years. They just kicked it up recently. BLM was formed in Ferguson during Obama. You'll notice it comes around every election year. This year is just worse due to the lockdowns, people out of work, and school closures. Add in the mayors and/or governors not cracking down on it like usual and this is what you get. I find it interesting that people blame Trump rather than the politicians that have been in office for decades that never bothered to address the problem. Edit to add: If you watch the live streams you see the same people for the most part at each one. They just travel destroying stuff. The snack van from Portland is in DC as a prime example. If you bothered to research, you'd know the death of unarmed people has dramatically dropped under Trump and black ones more so than others.

@deandredunbar9618 Horrible spelling, run on sentences, comment basically unreadable. 12 year old Twitter user detected. Edit: It's hilarious you're calling them racist for pointing out Disney's racism and stereotyping.
28
They've never played the game and think people are upset just because Zelda is a girl. It's funny because the game has always been about her. Hence why it's called Zelda and not Link.
26
I still think they need to bring Capaldi back and let him do it right. He was robbed of his chance with crap writing, especially the last couple of seasons. Even with that, he did a good job. That's the easiest way to erase the horror of this Doctor.
25
It already has spread everywhere except manufacturing. Working an assembly line or in a refinery is the only place activists aren't. Any executive, corporate, office position is already infested by this insanity.
24
You made it further in the latest series than I did. 5 episodes in and I was done. And I've been watching as long as Kneon.
23
I saw a young person working at a grocery store. A refrigerator had gone out, and the manager was trying to get the water cleaned up. This kid walks by with a buggy and an empty box in it. The manager yelled at him he'd told him to get a mop. The guy looked blank and said, "Oh yeah." Slowly turned around and leisurely walked back the other direction. My kids are Gen Z and have had to work with others in their generation. They can't stand them. Edit: Don't get me started on the ones at Walmart. Standing around on their phones or talking. Blocking the aisles, standing next to a stack of boxes.

That's from Zegler who says she watched it once as a child in one interview and in another said she'd only ridden the ride. Meanwhile claiming on social media it was her favorite when she got the roll.
20
I tried to watch her but didn't make it past the 2nd. I couldn't understand her half the time and she just wasn't good. Too many companions too.

@poodoodrilldick7757 That show had 2 seasons and has 4.4/10 rating. It was hardly embraced or accepted. Maybe pick a show that people actually liked that fits the criteria you mentioned. Good luck. Spin offs are usually the exact same characters just moving to a different situation. Not a complete change of the character. The very idea of a spin off is taking a very popular side character and exploring their life outside of when they are around the main ones. Edit: If you change the popular character from what made them popular, guess what. People don't like it and won't watch it. Most spin offs fail spectacularly when you do everything right so no one in show business expects these to be successful. Edit 2: I looked into it and there were tons of complaints. You couldn't even bother to see if what you claimed was even true. So you have horrible taste in shows and lie (though I believe unintentionally).

I'm not even a little surprised. These are the same people who want to stop the Alaska Natives from doing their yearly whale hunt and seal hunts. They then scream about stolen land. You are free to not like it. You are not free to take away something that's very important in their culture because they are rights of passage.
18
My son was in her group before she got picked up as a VA. She's constant drama. When he'd talk to me about stuff going on I thought she was much younger than she really is. It's teenager type BS. She was always upset about something and demanding everyone drop everything and come to her defense and comfort her. She's not a stable person.
15
Han wasn't really a smuggler now either.
15
I guess he forgot they got arrested for the profanity in their shows, because they stayed within those boundaries so well.
15
I was done when they started banning people for wrong think.
14
I've watched streams from every platform, none of them run terrible. There were some issues with some graphics cards, but they've already patched and fixed it. There are glitches, but I've never experienced a game recently that doesn't have them. If glitches make you not ever want to play a game, then you'd never play a new one for at least a year.
14
@carybeweary7209 As opposed to Biden's racism that's on full display almost daily? I guess Sweden did genocide too since they did basically nothing to stop it. So did Obama during H1N1 because he did nothing. I can't believe people actually think you can control a virus. All you can do is reduce your chances of getting it. Which is your responsibility. There's nothing 100% and that's why it's called a natural disaster. That's like getting pissed that he didn't stop a tornado.
14
She did this at the New York Times too and that's why she's no longer there. She's the one that was stalking alternate tech people in the app that requires an invitation to join. She snuck in a voice chat, said one high profile guy used the N word. Come to find out it wasn't him at all and she just was mistaken about the voice (they were using anonymous names so she "identified" them only by their voice). The New York Times didn't back her, made her apologize, and got rid of her. The Washington Post hired her to be a drama journalist. She's doing what she was hired to do. They knew what they were getting.

@arsenelupin9697 As far as I'm aware, everything you mentioned is from the source material. You're talking about a time in the future that you can do anything you want easily to your body with all kinds of augmentations. It makes sense that you can alter your voice easily. I can see how being able to alter your voice pattern could be very useful in that world. That's not being "woke". Just like Ghost in the Shell (anime or the movies) wasn't because being able to alter everything is the basis of the source material (manga). While the circumstances are different, the basic idea is the same.

I agree that it should be targeted to boys but isn't. Girls have all the Princesses and almost every other movie and show. They are putting nothing out for boys. I hate to tell them, but most girls aren't going to be interested in this. Yet for some reason they still aimed it at them. I don't know if they think switching who the show is focused on from a guy to a girl will make little boys like girls more or something, but it makes no sense. Edit: This is being done in everything too, not just this movie. Any show that would normally draw a male audience is switched to focusing on female characters. Even the new Obi Wan is all about Leia (who he shouldn't even be near) and Reva. When Obi Wan is supposed to be guarding Luke.

@GeraltofRivia22 This comment wasn't about lolis though. So your response to it makes zero sense. He clearly said "not illegal" yet you jumped in like he said it's illegal, but should be allowed.
13
According to this poll, it's a lot more than 50% and that makes me hopeful.
13
I had looked into doing Etsy but didn't because they let China in. Chinese companies were stealing designs and mass printing them so instead of getting something someone made by hand and their talent, you started getting cheap knockoffs. Good riddance.
13
I really want to meet these women that are afraid everytime they leave the house. All it says to me is they have a mental disorder. Have I been in uncomfortable situations with men in a bar? Of course, but that doesn't make me terrified of men in general. If you're that afraid, how can you even agree to go on a date? It's cringe, it's complete BS, and I'm tired of it. They are portraying women the opposite of what they claim. Damsels in distress and weak.
13
I've come to the conclusion these things are just tax write offs. It's the only thing that makes sense. They are never popular or successful. They run for a season or two and are quietly removed with no one complaining.
13
This! Under rated comment.
12
You can tell they don't have one. My mother-in-law told me when we found out our first was going to be a boy (we didn't want to know but they accidentally told us) that boys are for moms and girls are for dads. She had 2 girls before she had my husband. She's absolutely right. Moms and daughters fight like cats and dogs. Especially during the teenage years. Didn't have much of that with my sons. Sons put their moms on a pedestal. Moms are very special and dear to sons. To not want that is crazy. There's a reason it's daddy's girl and mama's boy. There's a reason football players yell "Hi mom!" into the camera.

@dadvssoncocopuffs Those are not mobility problems so no, you shouldn't have asked or gotten special treatment. Do you understand the differences in disabilities? Just because I can walk short distances doesn't mean I can walk long ones. Just because I can stand for short periods doesn't mean I can for long ones. That's why it's called accommodation, which is required by law. It's so people with such issues aren't forced to pay more for what's available to the public. So you're literally encouraging disabled people be charged more for what's included for everyone else. That's illegal. Edit: Accommodation means reasonable accommodation. So anxiety would require something unreasonable like emptying the park to avoid it. "Hey! Make a Wish! Spends hundreds of dollars more of donated money for those dying kids."
12
@skullfaceproductions8426 Ahh that is Critical Race Theory. You are white on the inside and therefore racist. Black people that don't support all the ideas are called oreos in the literature of it. Not even kidding. It's the most toxic thing I've ever read.
12
Yes they try to erase it because they think their bad thoughts are ones everyone has. Remember the Bakers, Swaggart, and them? If you weren't alive when similar things were happening in the 80s, search them. They were on TV telling our parents how evil everything was and it was going to influence their children.
12
It was to prevent him from buying more to gain a controlling amount and to prevent a possible pump and dump. This locks him in for 2 years.
11
I was told to write a letter to a Senator or Representative in Civics class, but not told what topic or anything. It was just to make sure we understood we could do that when we got older.
11
It's disgusting to teach it to children that young and known to be harmful. If a child that young is showing signs of sexuality, it's a red flag that they've been abused. These teachers aren't child psychologist to decide when it's appropriate because they aren't trained to know. Elementary school teachers aren't experts in any field and they need to stop pretending that they are.
11
@Marveryn Sleeping beauty isn't like the other 2. At least not the original. I've got the Grimm Fairy Tales which are the original European tales.
11
@GLoLChibs OG StarWars, Shrek, Star Trek, etc. Those are examples where the side female characters are adept and not the brain dead damsel in distress trope. The funny thing about those damsel in distress movies though is that they have always been very popular with women. So now, they really aren't making things for anyone anymore.
11
Bingo and that’s why Japan is looking at AI. I posted about the real reason but I’ll put it here too because it puts this in even more context. They’re changing so much it’s becoming a copyright issue for the Japanese companies that make them. In this case particularly so much was changed they could sue for rights to the US version they made because it’s so different to the original work.
11
I thanked them for introducing me to some new channels 😁

It's a 300-400 mile journey on the sea. Since they were almost to Valinor it was a long way.
10
I saw that video. She says being bi is more than just who have sex with and goes on to list things that only have to do with who you're in a relationship with. She just proved everyone right that people like her make her sex life the their entire personality.
10
@ardendragoon It will get rid of Amazon studios so that's a win I'll take. Amazon won't be making anything original. That's what it's intended to do, to drive up Prime subscriptions. That's the requirement that was placed on it by corporate. The only vanity is Bezos wanting a show that could drive engagement and subscriptions like Game of Thrones did for HBO.
10
I remember articles saying they preferred to use emails and other things and that companies were going to have to change to accommodate them. Which they did. Companies can't change everything every time a new generation enters the workforce. A lot of this started with millennials. That doesn't mean this one isn't worse. Look at what generation is leading a lot of the activist organizations and are running HR. It's not Gen Z. Oldest Gen Z is 25 or 26. They're barely out of college. Meaning a lot of this is younger millennials.
10
Why would they quietly fade from existence? There are popular movies made from them that people regularly still watch which leads people to then read them.
10
I think it's because the Dwarves were added later after the backlash.
10
@thisusernameisalreadytaken5132 Then read the original Peter Pan. He was a villain. Like all Grimm Fairytales it's not like Disney at all. The Little Mermaid cuts off her legs, Cinderella has horrible things happen, etc. They don't have happy endings. Edit: Peter Pan kidnapped children and would kill them. He wasn't the good guy.
10
@Taneuma_563 He wanted families that could only afford tickets to be able to bring a picnic and eat on the lawns.
