Oleg-Lobkov We import very little grain from Ukrainian and we pay for it. We are not “the West”. We do not rely on Ukraine for anything that we’re not capable of producing ourselves. Unlike Europe, the war didn’t impact us except for fertilizer which was from Russia. We import $716 million in grain from Canada and only $2.46 from Ukraine. You have yet to answer what Ukraine actually does that’s benefited the US. The hard truth is nothing. We’ve more than honored our agreement at this point. Edit: I’m sorry but the second weapons we’d sent were found in other countries our support should have immediately stopped. Obviously they weren’t needed that badly.

Looks like he's going back to me.
5
@FVD He's agreed to work with DOGE on credit cards. THIS is what unity looks like.
5
I’ve pointed out it can’t by definition be that because that’s not even where the bulk of those that call themselves Palestinian live.

I'm an independent. Grew up in the south in a rural town that was slightly majority black in the 80s and 90s. I never thought that. My very first presidential ballot was cast for Ross Perot. Clearly, I've always been populist. I was at the Battle in Seattle trying to prevent Clinton from letting China into the World Trade Organization. It was the only real protest my generation ever did because we understood what letting China in meant to our future. Unfortunately, we were right. It had representatives from every political side, every generation, and every organization, including unions. We learned then that what the people want isn't even a consideration no matter which party was in power. All of this to say, some of us were never asleep and we've been waiting a very long time for this.

100%

My younger son is gay and neither me nor his father are. We also know trans is a social contagen, especially among young women. I don't know why you felt the need to insinuate its hereditary when there's zero evidence of that. There was no need for that rambling at all.
5
Maybe that's why she's a former coworker
5
@JaylaStarr It's because he grew up on construction sites and never really fit in with the upper class. There are interviews with people that were around him in the 80s and early 90s talking about how he'd leave before the party even got going because he'd say he needed sleep. He'd leave by 9 or 10. He was influenced a lot by his mother, who was a poor immigrant waitress.
5
I'm seeing a lot of this. That hints that early voting is an even bigger margin then they think. It's an estimate based on party registration.
5
@sassytheclassy_rose9778 There's a box you check when you register. Democrat or Republican. Some have independent as an option and some don't. It's especially important if you live in a state with closed primaries.
5
@Shaymuhs Early votes haven't been counted. The current "count" is based on party affiliation and that independents are swinging heavy Trump. It's just an estimated guess.
5
No. We already went through Americans being educated as physicians in 3rd world countries and coming back to practice. It's why no one from them are allowed to practice without going through medical school here now. The UK is having serious competency issues because they let them in based on that. Come to find out, their kids did it all for them. Edit: How about instead, we stop it almost entirely for awhile while we work out a new immigration system.
5
Something that was decided during Trump's first term suddenly becoming an issue again simply because of who's around him isn't just a disagreement. Stop with the claiming he's been canceled b 💩 too. Does he still have a job? Is he still all over social media? Is he still allowed on shows and as a speaker? Yes, to all those means he's not "canceled." Stop trying to shut down discussions by calling anyone that doesn't 100% agree with someone in power as trying to cancel them.

Libby that used to be on Tim Pool talked once about what a doctor told her when she was a nurse. He told her he'd never have a black doctor. She was horrified thinking he was racist until he explained why. Med schools accept black applicants at about 90%. Even if they barely graduated college. Where as Asian and huwite were only accepted at 45 and 40% even if they graduated with honors. This has been going on a lot longer than most people realize. The Federation of State Medical Boards and the BAR Association have both said they are decreasing the licenses to huwite men.

@anyabravo370 "We can debate and find a solution." While you condemned people disagreeing with them in your first comment. Which is it? This is a clear example of the current problem. We can't disagree with them, but debate is good? These are contradicting statements. Just because you personally don't understand why people got upset doesn't make you the arbiter of what people can get upset about and disagree on. If you don't understand the issue, but claim debate is good, maybe just stay out of it instead of condemning those that are engaging in the debate.

I'm in a red state in a very red area. We'll be fine. Good luck everybody else!

@skyegroome223 Before that under Bush, Google canceled US military contracts because the employees were uncomfortable doing them. It means they created this environment in the company.
4
@openranks4519 Elon was born in Canada. Not South Africa. He's been a citizen since 2002, before some voters were even born. My husband is also a first-generation citizen. Is his tax money less important than yours? Edit: What you and these politicians don't seem to get is that Musk was paying attention to the citizens on his platform once what all was in it came out. He stepped in because WE were upset and didn't want it passed. All this unnecessary spending is what we want stopped. Especially trying to sneak in a raise for themselves. They go in poor and are millionaires in a year. They don't need one.
4
It was microaggression. Someone got off the elevator when they got on.
4
@Mortvent Birthplace citizenship is in the Constitution, so it would need to be changed. No way that's happening.
4
He's talking about progressives. AKA commies most of them. The difference is they're only about 10% of the party. They courted them and welcomed them with open arms. They funded them to run like AOC, who was a member of the Communist party before running as a Dem. They allow them on strategy and policy committees, which is why you saw the quotas at the recent DNC party elections. Now they're stuck trying to untangle from them after they've blown up their coalition because of them.
4
@williamdozier5190 I don't agree with that, but I do think if someone is on benefits, they shouldn't get a bigger return than what they paid in. They're already getting that. The bigger issue with our spending is how little of it reaches its destination. 60% of the budget is social programs. Only 30% reaches the individuals it's intended for. That's a huge problem of government employee bloat. Basically 70% is being spent on personnel instead of where it's supposed to go.
4
Yes. Say your 401k. When you retire and withdraw it, you'll be losing almost half your interest.
4
@NateOnThe-Radio That was this bill. This was the spending bill to fund the government until March.
4
Metokur introduced a new shirt last night. It's got ice cubes on it that spell ICE and beneath it in Spanish, "If you can read this, you're getting deported." He said if anyone reacts to it, you know who to call.
4
Yes. He said one thing and did the opposite. He expanded the federal government and put it much more into daily life instead of what he ran on. I know because I voted for him the first time. Not the second after he'd showed his true colors. For independents that voted Obama 1st term, watching the Democrats response to Trump just doing what they promised to do is beyond frustrating.
4
He's threatened to drag everyone into it.
3
Welcome. My husband became a citizen just short of being able to vote last time so this will be his first time to vote for President too.

@Bebopvicious00 That you're refusing to understand parents don't like anyone else using words that indicate possession is the problem. They are NOT yours. I have taken care of other people's children to the point I refer to them as child number 3 or my son by another mother. The difference is that it's understood it's a joke. That they're at my house so much, they might as well move in. It's also different because the parents know me and my family extremely well. Teachers don't have that type of relationship with parents. It's a stranger saying their child belongs to them. Your feelings aren't relevant. Parents are clearly indicating that's a boundary that's being crossed. Rather than acknowledge it, ever teacher just basically says f u, parent's boundaries don't matter.
3
@gimpinainteasy No they're not. They are children that will be in their lives a year at most. How you're describing it is exactly why parents take issue with it. They are strangers. "Had their kids ripped from them," making it sound like a mother having her child taken away. That's the problem. It's a mindset that needs to stop. A boundary has been crossed. What's really creepy is that those were children she'd never even met before. Imagine walking up to a stranger and saying that about their child. I appreciate being passionate about your job, but that's what it is. A job.
3
@KrazyIndeed No. They're expected to teach reading, writing, math, and other subjects as well as enforce the rules of the classroom. The rules of the classroom are not the rules at home. You're basically saying children should raise their hand to go to the bathroom everywhere and stand in line everywhere. Oh, and never talk unless they're outside. The things they teach in that regard only have a place in the classroom. Even young children understand this, but you don't.
3
No. It's because they attack their own. Have you been sleeping through all the pro Palestine protests? They did it at the DNC. They had to add 2 more layers after the first night.
3
Yes. Someone saying your entire country is bad because you don't force your children to study 24/7 except when they sleep and don't work 80 hours a week is going to upset people. Considering other than Japan, the US has the most unhealthy work cultures in the world, claiming there should be even worse work culture is going to ruffle feathers. Edit: In his culture (India) the top caste, which he's a part of, doesn't work like that. Only the lowest caste is expected to. So he sees everyone in the US as the lower caste which are modern slaves. You can tell which caste someone is in by the start of their name. Rama in his case. This is why knowing and understanding other cultures is important.
3
You can't leave the hospital without a car seat. You can't claim a child as a dependent until they've been living with you for 6 months, and it'll be next year's tax return. It ain't buying that car seat or crib. She'd know that if she actually ever had a baby.
3
That isn't "renewable" because the panels and windmills have to be replaced every 20 years or so. Not even taking into account the amount space and destruction putting them in causes. Then, there's the mining of the rare Earth minerals required that we have a limited amount of which is far more destructive and impacts the environment more than oil drilling because we've worked to reduce the impact of drilling to the point it's now a small hole.
3
Will Herman She is what I've always wanted to vote for for first female President. I hate these female politicians always wearing suits so they look like men. I want a woman that's proud to be female and embraces her femininity.
3
That might be the poll, but Trump always out performs his polling numbers. Republicans in general do because polls tend to have more Democrat respondents than Republican or independent.
3
@Tribuneoftheplebs It shouldn’t be our economy involved at all. We get zero benefit no matter who wins. So how does sacrificing our economy make any logical sense? Ukraine is just Russia light. It’s just as corrupt, eliminates political opposition, and not any freer. There’s a reason Ukraine was denied entry into NATO and the EU before the war ever started and it’s because they can’t meet the corruption requirement. Both those organizations require a low level of corruption and Ukraine is far from it.
3
A committee generally isn't permanent. The JFK assassination committee for example. A committee is a group of people put together to accomplish a specific task. Once that task is done. The committee dissolves. A committee is not a new cabinet position.
3
That's the thing about regulations. Most of them aren't voted on by Congress. They're just created by the bureaucracy.
3
If they had their way, you could vote online or by phone. They think the citizenship requirement is restrictive. They've been pushing for that to be removed for a while.
3
@kingjb82 When Bush was president? Yes, because it would be a change of who's in power. Not just person but party. She's VP and they've made a bid deal in the almost 4 years that she's been heavily involved in the decisions and plans of the current administration. So how is she change from the current administration?
3
@margotina100 That's why Starmer is stressing a coalition of the willing. It won't involve NATO. Which means no NATO troops, money, or equipment.
3
So just hand these two the gold? They know the results. They have lost to women before. Somehow just handing them the win and being disqualified is supposed to help the other competitors how exactly? 2nd and 3rd still exist.
3
@shani5345 Seriously! He’s constantly challenging people to fist fights. He calls half the country a danger to it. It’s insane.
3
@Michael-od4kd Most women have openly said they're against this. Otherwise, the other female boxers wouldn't have wanted these tests implemented in women's international boxing. Unfortunately, the Olympic Committee decided to against international rulings.
3
She's never had a baby. She has no idea.
3
It's very similar to when Obama was bragging about the recovery from 2008. Most of the jobs are part-time, and that's the case now. It's broken down in the report, full-time and part-time, but they don't show that part.
