Fetterman is the exception because his seat is pretty secure. Voting only on party lines would cost him his seat. Anyone that can win right after a stroke that caused brain damage, doesn't have much to worry about.

  11. Her family is speaking on what really happened. It looks like normal malpractice, which occurs a lot in hospitals and has nothing to do with any law. You are correct that too many women aren't aware that abortions aren't 100% safe. They can cause a lot of problems from infertility to death, and they're not informed about the potential risks. One of the reasons is because they go to a clinic that doesn't even have a doctor on staff. There'll be maybe one nurse and everyone else is just staff.

Only like 30% of Republicans even liked the party. It was just about the complete opposite to Democrats on like or dislike. Democrats overwhelmingly liked the Democratic party. We've still got work to do to get some others out, but we've sent a clear message. They don't even understand it's not about kissing the ring for Trump. It's them showing allegiance to us.

We have a shortage because qualified people weren't allowed to train because they were the wrong race, sex, sexuality, or able bodied. A former Airforce pilot explained the point system they were using alongside your test scores. If you were a vet +5 points, black +10 points, LGBTQ +10, etc and they stacked. So a person could score far below on the test but then get dragged up above 100% by adding the other factors.

  25. This didn't only happen under the current administration. It happened under Obama, too. It was a tropical storm that hit Louisiana, but not any major cities. Freaking crickets from the government. That's when the Cajun Navy was born. No Red Cross, no FEMA, nothing. We intentionally went 2 weeks later to the area, which was the worst hit to spend money at local businesses to give them a bit of a hand up. There were still houses underwater. People complained about Bush's response to Katrina, and it was nowhere near this disgraceful. Whenever disasters hit in a neighboring state, my little town would donate 18-wheelers full of supplies that would be driven to small towns affected because we knew they would get ignored by the federal government. Unfortunately, this isn't unique for rural areas. Unless a big city is affected, it gets pretty much ignored. It is unique that FEMA ran out of money.

  26. A commission or committee isn't new bureaucracy. As with any such entity, what they're able to do would be incredibly limited to only their single task. Once the task is complete, the entity dissolves. They'd either just recommend removal of redundant or excessive rules, or be granted the power the just remove them. That's it. Nothing beyond that. Once they'd gone over them all removed what was needed, the commission poofs. Is the J6 commission still going? That's an example of a commission or committee.

She was poor. On welfare kind of poor. They wouldn't do anything because she was terminal. They said helping people like that makes their survival ratio look too bad. Thank God for her doctor. He sent us flowers when she died with the bill marked paid in full. He covered all her treatment for the 10 years she'd received it.

During the summer of love the mayor of Portland was attacked several times even though he bent the knee to them. The one when Trump was inaugurated was actually planned for Hillary. They just switched the signs to Trump once he won.

  48. How was he "screwed over?" He didn't get enough votes. Republicans don't have a mechanism to fix the nomination like Democrats do. It's based only on who wins the most primary votes in each state. He simply didn't get enough. Against John McCain Ron Paul was polling at 3% among Republican voters. Edit: If they could, do you think they would have let Trump win the nomination in 2016? They hated him.

  50. That's what the basic studies are for. There's science, math, history, and courses like that to gain knowledge from. Anthropology would be good if you're interested in other cultures and their histories. All of those can lead to a job, but generally speaking as expensive as college is now, they're better off just reading.
