Then those (really rich) people use their capital to broke social contract between state and nation about taxation - government will decrease taxation for rich ones and hold/increase for poor ones. In the end the richest guy on the planet becomes de-facto president of the most powerful state in the world, while state is literary losing sense of existence 🌝
