Fast forward to 2017....Mueller is investigating Trump for "Russian Collusion" and for firing James Comey for running a fake "investigation" of Clinton and he was appointed by Rosenstein after Comey influenced the decision to use a Special Counsel by leaking government documents to people outside the government.   46. "Universal background checks" is code word for encumbering private sales with a background check system not available to private sellers. The solution has been proposed and is simple. Allow access to the NICS for individuals to do their OWN background checks, print out an approval and use it for ANY firearms purchase (FFL or Private) within 5 days of the approval. You simply cannot require people to do something they are prevented from doing. Nevada found that out.

McSally, in turn has been APPOINTED the Governor to replace Jon Kyl, who was APPOINTED by the Governor, temporarily, to replace McCain, who died. Sinema is in for 6 years. McSally is in until 2020 to fill out the remaining term of McCain. Since 2020 is a Presidential election year and AZ is a strong RED state, she will likely be re-elected in 2020.
