  1. The NRA has been largely useless in protecting our RIGHTS in recent years...and I say that as a life member since 1973. Rather than rescind all the previous Executive Orders infringing our RIGHTS when he was President, Trump ADDED more infringements. He used the ATF to re-write the definition of machineguns to include bumpstocks. He sat next to Sen. Murphy and said "I support taking the guns first, due process later" Trump should rescind EVERY previous Executive order on firearms, including his own. That includes import bans on firearms and ammunition.

  2. You are correct in that they are unnecessary. They could change the name on the building to "Treasury Dept." like it was before the ATF existed. That was 1970. Federal laws WILL be enforced by some federal agency. To imagine it would be better to enforce those laws with the Treasury Dept., as it was from 1934 to 1970, or the FBI, or the Post Office is naïve. The ATF is a symptom. They are not the disease. Eliminate the unconstitutional LAWS and the ATF will not be a problem.
