  1. Channel 4 refused to show a handful of cartoons about a 7th century 'prophet'. It censored the news out of fear. But you can't give up free speech out of fear of the repercussions while claiming there is nothing to be fearful about.

When parliament votes on Brexit, she says the political elites cannot be trusted and people must have their say in another referendum. She's a disaster for the remain campaign.   8. Who is expected to step in and stop knife crime? The government? The police? How? When they stop and search likely suspects they are condemned as racist. And the whole place erupts into rioting when an armed criminal is shot dead by police. Could this perhaps be the results of decades of victimhood status, low expectations, lack of parental responsibility, and a popular culture that promotes violence and criminality?

This was inevitable once talk of a second referendum got the support of Jeremy Corbyn. Its ironic that those who want the UK to remain within the EU will actually be the cause of the hardest Brexit possible.

  16. The Brexit deal on offer is worse than no deal. And has been rejected 3 times in parliament. That shouldn't be too difficult to understand. People didn't vote to leave the EU for economic reasons. They did so because they don't want political union with Europe. Referendums mean absolutely nothing if you don't enact the result, but simply rerun them again and again up until you get the result you want. The EU doesn't want the UK to leave. Because if the UK leaves, others might one day follow. The Irish border issue is the way they hope to stop the UK from leaving. Making it as unpalatable as possible. Only by doing that, they run a very serous risk of their bluff being called - a no deal Brexit. That will be a disaster for EU-UK relations for some considerable time to come. An unnecessary disaster that could be averted if the EU took Brexit seriously, and negotiated a serious leave deal on the assumption that the UK is going to leave.

By pointing out the obvious, and watching as his critics rush to its defence, he proves that they are dishonest and untrustworthy. They will say anything, while meaning nothing. Because you can't talk equality and woman's rights while defending something that removes the dignity, independence, and freedom of half the population.

  29. But didnt we have this whole same debate with Rumania and Bulgaria? Where people were told that there would not be large numbers of Rumanians and Bulgarians coming to the UK once restrictions on their rights to live and work in the UK were removed in 2014? The media even hung out at airports and train stations asking 'where are all those Rumanians and Bulgarians?' - But in the event, numbers from the two countries went up 80% from 230,000 in 2014 to 413,000 in 2017. So shouldn't Channel 4 news be focusing on the issue of possible Turkish membership of the EU? Because if the UK remains part of the EU, then that is an issue that effects people in the UK. Which is what Johnson was focusing on. And Channel 4 news is ignoring.

  42. When Iran arrested a UK citizen on charges of spying, Tulip Sidiq was among those who saw it as an opportunity to embarrass Boris Johnson for 'not doing enough' to get her released. Always willing to support anything that embarrasses the UK government (no matter who it is), this more than likely harmed the chances of getting her early release. Tulip Sidiq didn't care. She simply wanted to attack the tories. This is made clear by her total lack of interest in human rights abuses in Bangladesh. Even tho she is better placed than anyone in the UK to help those effected.

  46. These media platforms are private enterprises. Advertisers don't want their products associated with people like Alex Jones. It's bad for business. And Facebook, Spotify and YouTube are businesses set up to run a profit. So Alex Jones is not being denied freedom of speech. He just doesn't have the right to be propped up by companies advertising on Facebook, Spotify, and Youtube, when he harms their image. After all, Infowars decides its own content, why shouldn't they?
