He's correct. They are undermining the UK in the hope that the deal will be so bad, that the referendum result will be ignored.
3
Marxists should be hanged.
3
Thats exactly how it always was.
3
The Corbyn 'leadership' is perhaps the most divisive and extremist leadership the country has ever had for a mainstream party. Thornberry is deluded if she thinks a man that can't even keep his own party together is going to bring the people together. She is a disgrace.
3
Then she should stop blocking it
3
Russia has terrible relations with most western counties. Particularly with its near neighbours. In fact, I'd be worried if we had good relations with the KGB regime in Moscow.
3
Russia is like a cancer. Anything that stops it spreading is a good idea.
3
Russian attempting to spread it's cancer again.
3
Why aren't the Russians protesting against the Putin regime? Why are Russians so subservient? Don't they mind that their dictator is using chemical warfare and turning their country into a pariah state?
3
Lisa Nandy - Good to hear labour talking like grownups again.
3
And as we all know, being patronising is never something anyone on the Remain campaign would ever do.
3
Good point.
3
Oh, dear. Then Corbyn has failed before he even got started. Good job he lost the election then. Perhaps next time he should be more honest and tell everyone that no matter what they vote for, it really doesnt matter because he can't think of a solution either way - before moving on to that vitally important issue for everyone in the UK, that tiny strip of land called Palestine (again)
3
Russian's are used to living on their knees. Truth for them is whatever their latest dictator says it is.
3
The UK is only willing to pay out of a confused idea that it owes the EU, and the EU will deliver on a good trade deal. Neither is the case, so the UK shouldn't pay a penny. What are they going to do? Kick out all the Brits? Doing so would endanger their own citizens rights in the UK. Not a clever move.
3
I've changed my mind. She is a UK citizen. And therefore she is our responsibility. She's made enough trouble supporting a violent fascist Islamist organisation who's victims have been mainly other Muslims. Bring her back and throw her in prison for her crimes. The UK has done the same to other traitors in the past. Plus, I dont like the idea of any government removing citizenship from UK citizens. Fine if she wasn't a UK citizen to begin with, but since she is, she's our responsibility.
3
Wait long enough and Russia will collapse into chaos and anarchy. It does that every now and then. Then the world just has to make sure that this time it never gets up again.
3
The message on the bus read 'We send the EU £350 million a week. Let's fund our NHS instead'. That's not a promise. It's pointing out that the money given away every year to the EU could be better spent in the UK. People have been saying that for decades. Vote Leave wasn't standing for election and therefor are not in government. Besides, the UK hasn't left the EU yet. And will still be giving money away to Brussels for years to come.
3
Oh, yes. Because he only allowed them to ask one question. Obviously the time he lied about laying a wreath at the graves of violent jihadists mustve slipped her mind.
3
Russia is a third world authoritarian shithole. Always has been, and always will be. As we know, the best way to deal with it is through deterrence and isolation. Wait long enough and it will implode. It always does. Then we just have to make sure it never gets back up again. Because the world really doesn't need a Russia.
3
The problem is the labour leadership. From Corbyn to McDonnell to Seumas Milne, the party has been hijacked by people who have spent their entire careers on the political extremes. The type of people Corbyn mixes with make the BNP look like the Lib Dems. Corbyn and McDonnell will never deal with the problem. Because they are the problem.
2
Different EU back then. And it took 40 years before another vote was even considered.
2
Well, now we can have another 41 years of non stop carping.
2
Why would it mean a reversal of Brexit, Novocastrian Winter?
2
Typical narcissistic self obsessed middle class drama student playing at being edgy, but not actually being edgy. He sounds like someone who could work for the Huffington Post.
2
If they don't win any seats they could just do what they always do, refuse to recognise the result
2
And who are Mr Blair's 'fellow travellers' on this issue? - Looking at the present leadership of the labour party (those he is encouraging others to vote for), that would be the anti-Semitic, sectarianist, terrorist supporting, hard-line Islamist sympathising extreme left.
2
He's right. But I don't want the government telling people what they can or can't wear.
2
They're angling for a job in a future labour cabinet
2
Pat H True. He believes terrorists who blow people up in the UK should be 'honoured' for their sacrifice. And was even given an award by a convicted IRA terrorist for his loyalty to their cause.
2
KGB colonel Putin will be very disappointed. Especially because he already had evidence the British government and the white helmets were responsible.
2
herr haller Go fck yourself
2
@antonzheleznikov2749 And the 5 nation JIT even knows the Russian military unit responsible for shooting down MH17 - Russian denials are meaningless.
2
@antonzheleznikov2749 The JIT published their report some time ago
2
McDonnell's labour party led to the Iraq war. He never resigned.

Up until a week or so ago, 40% of Venezuelan oil went to the USA. The US market has literally been financing Venezuelan spending all the time the Maduro regime has been in power. Meanwhile, Russian oil giant Rosneft has been propping up the Maduro regime with massive loans, that the regime then spends on Russian weaponry. Venezuela is one of Russia's most important customers when it comes to arms sales. According to Rosneft vice-president Didier Casimiro, Rosneft has so far made a total of US$890m in interest payments on those loans. And Rosneft expects those payment to continue on schedule.
2
And the problem comes from the very top
2
So basically the clown there is saying that, Labour party using gagging orders = good. Everyone else using gagging orders = bad. Because, presumably, everyone but the Labour party cannot be trusted not to use gagging orders for unfair and unjust reasons of self interest. He really has no shame.
2
@marthab-c5226 She's built her fame selling doomsday predictions to the woke. Thats how the little brat gets attention. I don't find her sneeringly simplistic view of the problem inspirational at all. More like neurotic masochism - Which is kinda her thing apparently
2
Seeing as how Corbyn and his lunatic fanatics have dragged labour thro the gutter, the question should be, What took him so long?
2
@anolis_connoisseur3444 Thats a claim a sociopath might make no doubt
2
Pat Aherne Worst trolling effort ever.
2
Religious extremism and violence are inherent to half the Muslim world, and foreign policy will always be hypocritical. But that doesn't excuse the fact that John McDonnell supports sectarian violence and terrorism against the UK.
2
Lol. Get used to it. Capitalism and democracy is here to stay.
2
Nah. We don't want your north Korean regime here thanx.
2
Media suddenly getting very protective of Theresa May. Can't say as I've seen them start arguing with random members of the public every other time they stand alongside protesters. Is it because they sense she's going to do a deal that ditches the referendum result?
2
Like naturally gravitates towards like. Putin is far more comfortable with Assad and the ayatollah than with western democracies. After all, he's KGB.
2
@Yogafran Nope.
2
@StephenTownsley Interesting that, despite the public supposedly being too thick to vote on a simple leave/stay question, that now the remain campaign are demanding it should have a vote on two years worth of UK/EU negotiations. When will they be holding similar referendums across Europe I wonder? They should do, right? - The UK is as important a trading partner to the rest of Europe as the US.
2
That's no explanation at all. He's arguing that terrorists should be honoured for not blowing people up. And continuing the lie that he and Corbyn were 'negotiating with' rather than supporting the IRA. So how many times has McDonnell called for UVF terrorists to be honoured for their sacrifices? How many times has he demonstrated against bringing loyalist terrorists to justice? How many awards have the UDA presented to Mr McDonnell?
