  12.  @myfoodishere  USA GDP per capita is way higher than China, it's much freer and more democratic than China. Plus no internet censorship and reeducation camps. In China you're not allowed to have negative opinion about CCP and social media posts could land you in way worse situation than just losing your jobs. Infrastructure is better in China only because it's way newer. Drugs and guns, as well as gangs, sure America has it worse, it's because unlike China, America doesn't execute thousands per year over those offenses. Education wise, China is hellish for kids with its exams and school work plus kids only allowed to play 1 hour of video games a week mandated by government. Homeless encampments, it's because China has the hukou system which makes it hard for rural residents to move to big cities and officials ruthlessly evict homeless people. Also I've been to rural China and the poverty there is not seen on a scale anywhere in America

In China, even during mid-summer, temperatures above 40 degrees are rare due to the desert parts being both high in latitude and elevation meaning China’s desert parts are not very hot in summer and frigid in winter, while the southern parts of the country are very humid and wet in the summer cooling temperatures down, though in the south, the heat index levels are well above 40 degrees even if temps are just mid 30s
