How has that been working out? You yourself said not so great. And if Medicare for SOME is constitutional, you will have to explain why Medicare for ALL would fail a court challenge. I also wonder what all the small businesses that are having to close permanently will do. Having to provide medical benefits to employees once they grow, not to mention the challenges of paying for health insurance for the people who start them, has prevented a lot of people from going into business. It's only going to get worse. You all have a sad country. I hope the DC power structure can be prevented from going on new bombing sprees. Since you're so knowledgeable about US politics, what do you think the chances are of that? I'm not too hopeful. I expect more war.

Not that some of them won't succeed in the usual spin ("I voted against socialism!!"). Some will succeed, sure. But people are waking up. You seem to be terribly sanguine about the 2021 economy. I'm not.

At this point, you will need to concede that the people who have doubts about there really being a pandemic, which has made our economy phenomenally fragile and caused millions to lose health insurance they were depending on, are not stone-cold crazy or evil. Because you aren't talking as though you've taken the reality of the pandemic into account at all. You haven't from the start. Of course you didn't mention it here. You think talking about politicians and infighting is more important. I thought the pandemic deniers were crazy or evil. That was back in May. Now I simply disagree, but understand, to some extent, why they think the way they do.

Wouldn't you have to explain why a no vote on M4A during a pandemic would not dog a politician? Wouldn't you also have to argue that by voting no at such a time, that politician would have to go to work on proposing and passing an alternative? Doesn't "no" on M4A make a "no" on a robust public option that much more difficult to pull off, for a lot of politicians protecting the FIRE sector?

The fact of the matter is, while there may be plenty of reasons to be tolerant of Sanders, there are no such reasons to refrain from challenging Pelosi. I'm not going to repeat my argument to someone who swears. You're tedious. Justin Jackson said it well. So did Katie Halper, Max Blumenthal, Briahna, Dr. West. Where are the progressives in the Biden cabinet? Who did Pelosi appoint to a committee chair instead of AOC? A woman who DID withhold her vote in 2018, and who started out her political career as a Republican. That was low, BTW. You DON'T talk as if there is a pandemic and a looming recession, or worse. You failed to acknowledge it as a factor in making M4A urgent, and voting against M4A risky. So I can no longer despise the people who really wonder whether the pandemic is a "hoax." They are simple people, and don't understand how the jaded operate. All they know is that their jobs are disappearing. But I'm supposed to care about the political class because . . . Personally, I do not care for Joe Rogan, but I sure do understand why he has a following. A little more than 70% of American adults over age 25 do not have a college degree. You see people interested in their perspective much? And Jimmy managed to go, despite growing up without a bookshelf. (He mentions that a lot.) How come he saw through Russiagate? From a conservative Catholic background? You know he was encouraged to hate on Russia.
