I've never asked this before, and normally it would not occur to me, but: Could you PLEASE make the entire Richard Wolff interview available for free on YouTube in about 4 to 8 weeks as a stand-alone? It's too important to have it stay behind a paywall in perpetuity.

THIS was the best report on Israeli voices for peace and justice I've seen so far.

Please do something nice for yourself this weekend. Now.

It makes sense that the security state runs the country. Surveillance, regime change, and covert operations are the best ways to serve the billionaires, their only constituents.
27
YES. Five bucks per show adds up. Don't forget Glenn, our god. Of course Briaha, our intellectual beauty. Chris Hedges, etc. A consortium is necessary.
16
Exactly
13
Outstanding segment, thank you.
13
And they don't see any reason to hide it.
12
@stuartwray6175 The struggle with autocorrect is never over. You cannot win every battle.
12
Did you ever think we would be witnessing full-blown war psychosis, and tons of people would be praising it as normal and innovative? And others would know no different?
11
How could Assange be a traitor? Extraterritoriality, obviously.

💯

BTW, more fun facts: Mark Kelly was a Navy Captain and an astronaut who piloted the Shuttle. He also saw combat as a Navy pilot. Last I heard, the Navy trains people in how to shoot straight. Also, his parents were both police officers. Apart from being shameful, that ad says a lot about what media does to people's grasp of reality.

Reading a book on PTSD: During the WWII bombing of London, some children were sent to the countryside to save their lives. Those children were more traumatized by being apart from their parents than the ones who stayed in London and lived through all the bombings, with their parents. That's what we're doing at the border.
9
I felt that way, too, and within a few days felt as though I needed to hide.

28:51 We always said that if this were ever to happen again, WE would stop it. Instead, we are arming it.
9
It worked for her. 💰
8
Those are usually coordinated campaigns. (Y Tu Mama Tambien had a swarm of religious fundamentalists denouncing it, if you can believe it. "N'importe quoi")
8
It's disgusting but it came as no surprise. Why does anyone defend Hiroshima and Nagasaki, still?
8
The "subtext": the power of the dollar grows out of the barrel of a gun. Realists always knew that. The purpose of degrading Russia is to degrade any threat to dollar dominance -- which grows out of the barrel of a gun.
8
Um, let's hope not.
8
There are many. We don't hear from them.
8
Robbing and starving Afghanistan: "Everything happens for a reason."
7
Wow. She must need a raise. Ackman is on the case.
7
For people who grew up in Jewish homes where ethics and justice were always a priority, facing this is not easy, either. People hesitate to say it, because, obviously, compared to what is happening in Palestine, . . . it cannot be compared.
7
Katie in her Russian hat for sure.
7
@theprogressivemichigander6588 Thank you for this perfect explanation. It's rent extraction, just as Adam Smith warned about and thought could be avoided, and Marx demonstrated was inevitable under the system. How are older people supposed to afford a car or a washing machine? You used to be able to buy one for retirement and never need another, not to mention the vast environmental degradation planned obsolescence is causing. All of this is spinning out of control.
7
@MatthewLevine79 Yes, that's her.
7
@ChannelMath This made me go back and watch it again, and I agree. 😢
6
Yes, one of my absolute favorites.
6
"Entitlement" was once a good word; the Supreme Court used it to mean something that you are entitled to, in contrast to any program that depends on someone's discretion. In the case of Social Security, no bureaucrat can say "no."
6
It's probably mostly Jewish people and Palestinian people, to be honest.
6
But they use more planned obsolescence now. BTW: In 2007, on July 4th, I wore all Made in America, including shoes and underwear. It was my tradition, and all the teens I knew thought it was cool. I can't anymore.
6
AIPAC, who are here, have more to say about what happens in Israel than do people like Mr. Cassif, who is there.
6
Matt, why are private prisons not illegal under the 13th Amendment?
5
Never be ashamed.
5
Given that f***ing collision insurance/shakedown is mandated by state law, well, everyone has to find a decent company. I don't know. This did not bother me as much as, say, . . . Oil, Pharma, big banks, private prisons, . . .
5
Me, too. Shocked me as well.
5
Oh My God . . .

@davidschlessinger9945 There is no such thing as a progressive view on the lab leak hypothesis. It either happened or it didn't. Rittenhouse is much more complex than neoliberal media portrayed it. A generation after Columbine and Wisconsin's legislature was incapable of drafting a reasonable and constitutional gun law with respect to minors? This is astounding. I didn't know what is legal in this country. As for Rittenhouse's affiliations, the JDL 2020 annual report on domestic extremism said they found no evidence of extremist affiliation. His older sister supports BLM and went to a demonstration after George Floyd was murdered. The relatively unknown commentator Dore had on gave the best analysis of the Rittenhouse case. He made a distinction between taking the broader view and a narrow one, which is the one the court takes. Under a narrow view, the simple fact of being armed does not provoke any particular person, and in any case Rittenhouse fled. He was therefore entitled to claim self defense under Wisconsin law. Not only that, but the prosecutor tried to violate his Fifth Amendment rights. Why would progressives agree with prosecuting minors as adults? I opposed that from the start. We all know why it's done.
5
💯 Wonderful show.
5
Katie also gave us "woke washing." Yes, brilliant.
5
43:59 Aaron Mate joins the program.
5
@ahmedvawda1282 How do you know? If child of survivors Norman Finkelstein is not, and his parents were not, why do you think they all are? Not all Germans supported Hitler. That those who resisted were extremely rare, like SOPHIE SCHOLL, makes it all the more important to remember them. Doesn't it??
4
So the Steele Dossier was pure DARVO. A lesson to us all.
4
Chris Hedges was just on, for a long segment. 🤣
4
💯

20:06 I sympathize with the Israeli activists. This is hard. Gideon Levy has a deep perspective on all of this. People willing to face the facts will be the ones who bring solutions. This is tragic. Agree also about the international community. All true.
4
@tonyclayton6975 😂😂😂

Lead causing retardation has a known mechanism. Look up the post hoc fallacy. If there were multiple proven cases, even a tiny number, of retardation after the vaccine, there would have to be a suspension of the vaccine and a study.
