Brian's parents had a right to allow him to live there, and they had the right to remain silent, as long as they did not lie to law enforcement or destroy evidence. THAT would be a serious crime. You can never lie to police, and especially not when they are investigating a homicide.

As a matter of fact, part of the shame of the "war on terror" is the absence of reliable information on the civilian toll. Children not yet born or conceived on 9/11 died in those wars. Children whose parents were not yet born on 9/11 died. Actually, the Soviets were invited into Afghanistan. The time when Afghanistan had a socialist government was the last time human rights and women's rights had any hope of being acknowledged in there. At least women could go to school and even college back then, and didn't have to be covered from head to toe.

@johnmartin4641 This is nonsense. C-suite is the face of the corporation, not "some job." He should have a job that he understands and can perform competently, no problem. I am sure it would pay well. He is not entitled to C-suite.

@johnmartin4641 A LOT of people have the credentials for the C-suite; that's how business is organized. If a CEO, CFO, etc., etc., were to leave tomorrow, the business moves on. A lot of qualified people also know what social media is, and have good judgment. This is the kind of guy who would not know he was exercising terrible judgment IF he were getting praise, likes, etc. These people present a risk. If you are telling me that everyone is like that now, and you can't easily replace him, then I agree. You're right.

@johnmartin4641 Well, you have a right to manage your company as you see fit. And anyone can unexpectedly up and quit any job. Or be hit by a drunk driver. Or get married and their spouse really needs to move.
