His recent interview with Tucker Carlson was funny, with Tucker holding his arms tightly folded across his chest as he was forced to agree with points made by a man who still espouses socialism, based on his own concrete experience as a worker that Tucker knows nothing about (and that even Trump has some hazy notion of, from having known actual construction workers). It was kind-of funny. 😂

  20. The US was never as bad as it has been since 9/11, either, and is falling fast. Today's US is not a good picture of what it once was like. It was much freer, and people born right after WWII had huge opportunities. A 1970 college grad could go to any city and find a job, and afford an apartment. Minimum wage and a couple of roommates could make Manhattan rent. But the Five Eyes are very worried about the non-Western world, that is clear, especially Russia, Serbia, etc. NATO isn't as solid as it was. The elites in NATO countries are tight with US/UK, maybe more than ever, but many people in France, Spain, Greece, and even Germany see through US/UK and want to cooperate with Russia. There is literally no anti-Slavic prejudice in France. It was a breath of fresh air living there.

  30. How does that apply here? Kennedy is an eminent toxic torts lawyer and has been litigating these types of issues for his entire career. Both Briahna Joy Gray and Kim Iversen have done solid segments on their shows on the issue. Kennedy certainly has informed views on regulatory policy and how to avoid conflicts of interest. You don't have to agree with him, but the story that he's some crank is straight-up false.

But yeah, USSR was both better and worse than we were told. We were supposed to believe nothing important was happening there, but in fact it is the pivotal nation. I only found out the USSR defeated the Nazis about 50 years after WWII, when an Oxford military historian said so on public television, and that Soviets prevented nuclear war twice. Then I started reading Stephen F. Cohen.
