I did not get the vaccine, for the simple reason that my concerns were never addressed -- nor could I find out whether what I had in March 2020 was indeed COVID, nor were any vaccines tested on a population that had been exposed to COVID or had recovered from COVID. Nor could I get the healthcare I needed during these three years. SO, I'm unvaccinated. I nevertheless believe the vaccine was probably benign for most people who took it, and that most of those harmed by it can recover. The number of injured is still far too high, and the benefit (if any) is too limited. All these vaccines should be withdrawn. I don't believe in scaring those who simply did what they were told was right. I think humans are resilient, and that most of them will be all right. They would probably have been better off had they never touched it, but that doesn't mean they can't recover now. It will take work.

  15. Any of us can click the link to the Australian government website and see for ourselves that it was discontinued three weeks ago due to a serious side effect attributed to the vaccine: thrombosis with thrombocytopenia (TTS), and is no longer in use there, for anyone.

  17. Well, they shouldn't be. I'm hoping they stopped by the end of 2021, when the US surge in COVID cases occurred exactly at the time when "complete vaccination" was at its highest and most recent. I didn't get v-ed, by the way. I see no reason to scare those who did, but prudently stopped by 2022 and have not had any known issues since then. That's 34 months ago, at least. 🙄 Something would have happened by now.

As another person pointed out, case-related mortality is always higher than infection-related mortality, because so many infected people are mildly ill or even asymptomatic, and never end up in the denominator.

I personally always look at deaths per million, although at this point we do not really know what they include. I will explain. It took a long time to establish that women who underwent multiple fertility hormone treatments without conceiving were at greater risk of ovarian cancer than those who did conceive. In relation to this issue, of deaths per million, I wonder whether those who had moderate to severe COVID, then were vaccinated with mRNA or other vaccines, in that order or in the reverse order for that matter, now have a higher risk of death. Multivariate analysis, which can give us the answer, is difficult, expensive and takes a long time. You get my drift.

  22. Well, sorry to see a few less than sympathetic replies. Everyone needs a virtual pat on the back or a hug, even a doctor. When I was a caregiver for my late father, I was so impressed by the amount of research on nutrition in this century -- there has been a plethora of new findings, and startling progress. As someone who has followed the advice I gleaned from those years of caregiving and study, 2005 to 2010 and beyond, I am sure there are things you can do now to get better. All the best to you! You'll be yourself again soon. Consider a brief leave of absence to recuperate; no one would dare fire a doctor now. :)

  29. We need to know how many people under 40 needed to be vaccinated to prevent one hospitalization, AND how many people under 40 needed to be vaccinated to save one life. This is before we even speak of vaccinating minor children. And notice this does not EVEN address the risk of vaccination. Let's first look at what they are constantly pushing on us, namely, the benefit. Let's look at how great it really is in younger people.

  31. I remember that BEFORE any vaccine was developed, top virologists were warning that any vaccine against a corona virus would be difficult to devise, and would likely be highly reactive. What is odd is strong reactivity plus poor immunity.

  37. Contact an attorney. The vaccine manufacturer is immune from liability, but failure to diagnose or treat ANY illness from any cause properly could be malpractice. That could mean doctors need to report, seek information, seek guidance, etc., in order to treat.

  43. There have been studies that showed irascible people with cancer have longer disease-free life than those who are meek and compliant. Self-censorship seems not to be wise. But we can't be sure, really. I remember the myth of the "cancer personality." We find all kinds of exceptionally cruel ways to blame victims for their plight. Maybe get that Vitamin D test?

One incident per 100,000 like the one described by Brianne used to mean a pause in the approval. That was the standard for vaccines. We have anything from 10 to 120 per 100,000, depending on the study and the drug, and the threshold of seriousness, at this point -- at least 120, if you include subclinical myocarditis.

  50. @fredgill487  Me too. I came to my decision in the following way: I read the description of mRNA technology on the MIT website and decided against it. A lot of people must have had a similar thought, and there was a brief shortage of Johnson & Johnson/Janssen. I asked everywhere, and no one had it. That was just before it was temporarily withdrawn because of the blood clot issue, which overwhelmingly occurred in women. In the meantime, myocarditis in young men was established, caused by the mRNA vaccines. After that, no normal, free person who wasn't manipulated to be petrified would have taken this drug. (I was bullied mercilessly. I felt like a hunted animal. No big deal, thought I'd mention it.) Yo. Drugs are dangerous. We need to get back to that.
