  2. If you can afford it. I'm older now but these young kids? Heh... Growing up a gpu was relatively affordable. Now this launch is literally all above $500. That's got to feel bad for the normal cash strapped consumer. We're basically just catering gpus to the upper classes now.

  4. The winner in all of this is amd and nvidia. They sold gpus starting at $500 this launch. Literally printing money for investors.

  6. This should not be a video. I looked into getting an ultrasonic cleaner and this was specifically said to not do. This is why you should be careful about doing things you see on YouTube. I know people have done this and have not died and have been safe but doesn't mean it's not potentially dangerous. I'm still getting one, but this is a terrible video.

If the market wants it, and it does since Nvidia high end cards EVERY GEN are in high demand, Nvidia makes more... If you know anything about gpus, Nvidia has been able to sell at a higher price all the time. They don't run a charity. The world has massive wealth inequality. Nvidia is catering to the customers that can afford their products. Don't like it? Then you hate capitalism and America

So why Conor says price doesn't matter is insane. 1-3% "win" for a way more $$$? It's a no brainer. If you're going to shill for a company at least own the stock and reap benefits. I just don't get why consumers do this. They fall deeply in love with a company, and gain zero benefit from that company. Consumers just make zero logical sense.

  31. I deleted my account and am not registering just to play games. It doesn't make sense. And since I can't register just any account and must use real identifying markers they'll use to track me all over the internet, no thanks. I made a deal with Google because the value I get from Google is worth it. I didn't make a deal with Facebook because I don't enjoy social media and the toxicity it usually is.

  33. In what world do you think the large chip would be able to meet demand during a pandemic? Everyone and their mother wants to buy this chip. I haven't bought a chip in 5 years and I'm bored at home and I might fall by this I don't care what it cost. Even if Nvidia had double or quadruple the product out it would not have met demand.

  36. Considering the 3090 is a titan and the 38e is a cut-down Titan just like a 2080 TI the cut down Titan the 38 he's actually an amazing launch and obviously out of stock everywhere for a reason. They just dropped the price on what the 2080ti replacement is and it probably dropped a TI naming convention altogether. Now that I looked at the GPU dyes themselves and I see which GPU died I'm getting for $800 yes the 3080 is definitely an amazing deal

  42. I came to see how many dislikes there would be on the video and I'm not surprised. Also gamers are the people least likely to have a Facebook account so it's a very weird thing to ask. Won't be surprised when people go along though. We're sheep and give away rights to companies and hope they use their power well and are always surprised when they abuse it.

  50. The way that pricing is in the industry currently I've given up on video games. There's just no way that a GPU is worth two to three thousand dollars for me. I don't expect to be able to get back into PC gaming for another two years
