  4.  @fred_derf  why wouldn't it be sold out everywhere? That's what you SHOULD expect during a global pandemic, and a 300% increase in demand. Gamers for some reason think it's still only their crowd that wants this. TONS of people are getting back into gaming because they are stuck at home. The demand is WAY HIGHER and the supply is not as easy as before. The 2080ti had just as bad availability. There's NO WAY the 3080 could be better.

  5.  @fred_derf  I'll use myself and a friend as an example. Myself, I don't game but I'm bored at home. So I'll buy a 3080. I'm just BORED. I won't even game with it FYI. I know I won't. I haven't bought a gpu in YEARS. My friends, work in big tech. They went from being wealthy, to due to stock market + housing market, extremely wealthy or millionaires. So a 3080/3090 build means NOTHING to them. This is a TON of people. So it will instantly sell out for long time because last generation a 2080ti was $1200 and people STILL bought it. This is $700 for the same level. Of performance. That's NOTHING for a lot of people. Don't expect this to be available til next year.

  6.  @fred_derf  I'm not seeing people upgrading. I'm seeing brand new entrants. That's what you guys just don't get. Brand new people with deep pockets are coming in and $700 is not a lot of money for them. This was extremely predictable. It's been on the news constantly. Demand for gaming, TV, computer etc. Products are through the roof.... Hell, jayz himself said he won't get much time with his own build. That's just how it is. People with money who probably won't even use the product that much typically get it first.

  10. The prices of most things in South Africa I would make you feel like you're being scalped compared to cheap USA. Or in Africa in general. Driving a Mercedes in Africa means you can afford not only to buy a Mercedes, but also to bribe or pay import fees and also afford importing maintenance. Living in Africa is way too expensive. I can't do it. I need cheap American access. That lifestyle is just ridiculously expensive, and hilariously, Americans think it'd be cheap to live there.

  26. My tweeters in my home theater system kept breaking because I didn't have enough power. When you don't have enough power it can break things. This is why I always buy over specced amps for home theater now. I know myself and I know I'm going to buy big speakers and subs and I don't want to break them feeding them bad power

  27. 2:35 this would be correct if you were talking about GA104, but this is ga106, new silicon. This type of stuff is the reason why I dislike watching YouTubers, you should know this. A 3050 will be a cut-down version of ga-106. You can literally have found this out just by going to the 30 series Wikipedia page, low effort when you screw up literal basics.   30.  @NewmanOnGaming  that's the real story this isn't a good value it's just that last time was way worse. That's part of the reason Nvidia did the name change. So that reviewers wouldn't compare directly to the 2080ti. If people did 3080ti vs 2080ti it would be bad. So Nvidia changed the name and we now see 3080 vs 2080 and 3070 vs 2070 even though we all know the 3080 is what the 3080ti would normally be.

  39. You guys say this but I don't think you understand what Nvidia cares about (aka the actual humans there). Their bonus and life. Dude, you don't work for free. Either do they. Nvidia is up over 100% this year in the market. That's what those people care about. So all this "wow Nvidia should be worried" idiocy will not work. Nvidia doesn't hear you. They hear the insane bonus checks and networth increase. Many people doubled their networth this year that work there. They are as happy as can be. I 100% assure you no one at Nvidia is worried or upset about the current situation. You don't feel that way when everyone there got WAY RICHER this year.

  42. Great fake outrage video. "Nvidia should make a mid range card," cater to your base, like any card Nvidia makes wouldn't sell out right away, so why not the high end.... So tired of you reviewers needing to cater to your soft base of viewers who need constant approval on how bad gpu availability is. People want every video to be a whiney complaining mess.

  43. Just an FYI the wattage of a speaker is extremely misleading. Jtr speakers can feed one watt into their speakers and have it be deafening with very good quality. The reason why because they're speakers are high sensitivity speakers. Many people build these for home theater, check AVS Forum do-it-yourself section.
