Bring your dollars . Smart move to dump Mercedes before they damage BYD brand. The ev fire disaster in SKorea recently have really damaged Mercedes brand image. Their one ev can destroy 140 cars all at once. Now SKoreans are so scared of buying evs. No thanks to Mercedes.

KTV can close for all I care. Patrons can spend more time with family instead. Instead of blowing their money and time on this dumb entertainment.
1
They built a 43thousand km of high speed rail network while US and UK are struggling to complete their first one.
1
Indians love Chinese smartphones which control 70% market share. Indians don't even like their own homemade phones which also assembled from imported Chinese parts. Even their close ally Russia is not able to buy much from India with all the rupees they are holding from oil sales. That's why they prefer payment in yuan instead. This boycott has been talked about for a very long time. Totally ineffective until India can produce and replace what they buy from China. That's may take decades
1
@seandoherty4236 Happens in Asean as well. It's not unique to China.
1
How do you know? Used it? Are you in China? It's not available anywhere else
1
@nomennescio7457 I am using YT right now. Huawei Petal Map is just as good. No issue. My Huawei Nova 10 SE a very affordable mid range phone.
1
@nomennescio7457 Wouldn't have bought if no YT or Map app. I am not that dumb.
1
@Julyon. Very true. The Russian fighter jets are too scared to fly over Ukraine for fear of being shot down.
1
Nah. There is only one problem maker this world. Where ever they go they create or instigate conflicts to sell their pricey weapons.
1
@blackbelt2000 Maybe you should ask the Iraqis or the Libyans or the Afghans or the Palestinians. They may have a different opinion since they are on the receiving end.
1
Yet EU and US are so worried about these subpar Chinese evs that they rushed to raise their tariffs to protect their own from being demolished. Biden must be super scared and impose 100% tariff. He has no confidence of his own industry's ability to compete against poor quality Chinese imports.
1
@donaldmaxie5264 But but EU and US are so worried about these junk Chinese evs that they impose more tariffs on them. They are afraid their own companies cannot compete without protection. Sleepy Joe rushed to make sure 100% protection even when there are no Chinese evs there. He is afraid Americans may buy these junk cars rather than their own.
1
Yet EU and US rushed to impose higher tariffs to protect their own cars fron these useless Chinese evs. Biden is so scared that he impose 100% tariff even though they are not for sale in US. He knows anything less than 100% is not enough protection. The Chinese will take over his market.
1
@LongThành-c8f You lack critical thinking skills. US Navy is there to provide protection of the international shipping lanes, to allow Chinese ships laden with their manufactured goods, trouble free passage to their global markets in Europe, SAmerica as well as US. Who's the smart one here.
1
Just a sink hole. Jeez
1
Very true. VW made the most profits from their biggest market for many years and now gave in to Western pressures. Now they are in big trouble back home. Closing factories and workers on strike. Due to falling sales in China, their profits reportedly dropped almost 60%. Serves them right. No morals.
1
@TTen-schir53b9 Sure. I am suppose to believe this is true because the west and you said so. What a joke
1
Stop dreaming. Won't happen
1
Exactly. What doesn't kill you, makes you stronger. Not just for Huawei but also their space program. They have Nasa to thank for that. After being banned from the ISS, the Chinese built and launched their own space station. Now the latest triumph with the successful completion of lunar module Chang'e 6 mission to the far side of the moon and back with samples. Neanwhile Boeing Starliner is stuck and leaking away in the ISS with their stranded astronauts.
1
What don't kill you, makes you stronger. Imagine a company going up against a superpower. They threw everything they could think of at Huawei. Any other company would have folded at the first instance. It reminds me of China's space program. Without the Wolf Amendment Act 2011 , banning them from the ISS, China would not have gone on to build their own space station. Now their latest achievement with their Chang'e 6 lunar module to the far side of the moon and back. While Nasa Starliner is stranded and leaking at the ISS. China has to thank Nasa for charting their own path.
1
Yet they are leading the world in 37 out of 44 Critical Technology Sectors. Ranging from AI, to advanced robotics to quantum computing. While US and UK are struggling to build their first first speed rail line. While many are still harping about them copying, they are steaming ahead.
1
So it's morally alright to buy American products by ignoring what's going on in Gaza or dismissing their past unjust wars in the Middle East. Literally invaded and destroyed Iraq under false pretense while the war criminal Bush Jr is enjoying his retirement.
1
Morally feasible to buy American products by ignoring what's going on in Gaza?
1
He can put out tons of videos but will not stop the Chinese evs and Tesla from dominating the industry. Elon Musk also laughed at Byd some years. Today he depends on them for their blade batteries. Never believe everything you see on YT. Dont be naive.
1
Total global car sakes for 2023 China : 30 million US : 15.5 million Europe: 10.5 million You sure?
1
Why not. It's empty, dry, and useless for anything else. Still wrong to generate green energy? Egypt , India and US also do this in their deserts. They have been the largest supplier, and still is for the rest of the world. It is what it is. Just cope harder
1
Chinese ppl suffering? Not that I can see. There were so many Chinese tourists here in Asean during their lunar new year holiday. Enjoying themselves and spending.
1
VW and Audi just announced they are moving their ev production up China. They know where the action is happening and its not in Wolfsburg or Inglostadt, Germany.
1
No the Chinese are not hungry. They are doing great. You must be confused with North Korea or the homeless in US cities. Plenty of them in upscale neighborhoods like Beverly Hills or Mahattan NY.
1
But this channel also claims the dam is cracking and collapsing. Every year during rainy season they say the same thing. So is it going to collapse or not this year? If it is, it doesn't matter whether it can bring cooler temperatures during summer.
1
Nah. Not true. These kids are just organizing a mass get together cycling event to the city of Kaifeng. Don't blow it out of proportion. The cops are just doing their job to control traffic.
1
Source: Trust me . Came from my rear end.
1
Scary isnt it? What they can do as they develop and progress. Dedollarisation in trading among members is the definite first step. Already all of Russian and China trade are done in either roubles or yuan. UAE and India have already started to trade in their own currencies. So yeah they will move onwards.
1
Factually untrue. Great famines happened during Mao's era. The Chinese under Xi are well fed, pampered and privileged. They are well educated and travel the world over. It's now the largest car market in the world? while bicycles were the only means under Mao. There are plenty more I can think of. But you get the point.
1
@powershift2025 Live there you will find out. Vietnamese form the the most number of illegal Asian migrants to UK. While Indians are the largest in US and Canada. Why so many leave if things are looking rosy at home.
1
Paid actors. They are a dime a dozen in China. Pay them and they will say anything.
1
Charge at home like most ev users do here.
1
No bruh. They are just starting to take off here in ASEAN.
1
So do Jim Farley CEO of Ford Motors USA. Ever since he got his Xiaomi SU7 shipped from Shanghai, he has driving it fir the past 6 months and loving it. He says he's not stopping. Say NO to gasoline cars! Xiaomi ev rocks!!
1
@nikki5399 BYD sales have just surpassed that of Tesla in Europe. They are now the largest ev manufacturer in the world. Just imagine if they are allowed to sell in the second largest car market in the world, US. There are good reasons why Washington had to put up a high tariff wall to prevent the Chinese evs from demolishing their auto industry. If US made cars are better, there's no need for this protection. Ultimately the market will decide which product is better.
1
Paid actors. If you like melodramas.
1
Bad driver blames car for his poor driving skills.
1
Used western made cars are junk and many already taken over by new Chinese car makers. Volvo and Lotus taken over by Geely. MG taken over by SAIC. Now there are rumors BYD is looking into buying Chrysler in US. Go and cry in your corner.
1
Haha. In your wet dream
1
But far ahead in high speed rail transportation. After 2030 they will be the only one with a space station. Unless Nasa decides to build one.
1
The best value ev in the world. EU and US are so worried about Chinese evs that they rushed to impose higher tariffs to protect their own brands. Biden knows anything less than 100% is not enough protection for his hone made overpriced junk. Both know they cannot compete.
1
Very true. Their water filled rockets have gone to the far side the moon and came back. While someone we know is still stranded in outer space and may not come back.
1
@GGP1980 Their water filled rockets managed to reach the far side of the moon and came back. While the other space powerhouse and their astronauts are still stranded in outer space and may never come back. So Chinese water filled rockets are far superior.
1
No I don't. Nio got a cash injection of 2.3 billion dollars from the Abu Dhabi government in Dec 2023. Going bankrupt my arse.
