@philgordon6671 Of course they do. Why do you think EU as well as US, rushed to impose upto 100% tariff to protect their own. They know the Chinese evs are better built and more affordable than theirs. They just cannot compete. End of story.
3
Many Chinese ev models have 5 star safety rating from the European rating agency Euro NCAP. They are safer than some European brands. You can check this up. EU and US know that without imposing high tariffs as protection, their own industry will be demolished by better built and more affordable Chinese imports.
3
@fteoOpty64 Bruh. You can check this. Msny Chibesd ev models have a 5 star safety rating from Euro NCAP . Safer ghzn some European brands. Unless you are saying you don't trust this European testing agency. Facts matter, and they don't care about your feelings.
3
BYD dominant here in Asean. Tesla out of the reach of many interested buyers. You don't see a single BYD ev as late as end of last year. Now they are everywhere.
3
Not just electricity but also having a 45,000 km high speed rail network, about 161000 km of express highways, about 10,200 km of metro subway lines, the largest electric hydrodam in the world, a vibrant space program with their own space station, an aviation industry building their own commercial aircraft So yeah it reminds me of NKorea.
3
Here in Malaysia , BYD is no 1.
3
It'd called having choices. Just like here, there are still older people who insist on goung to the banks to withdraw cash, rather than using debit card or ewallet. At least until they passed on.
3
@stevedolesch9241 Keep telling yourself this if it makes you sleep better. Meanwhile you can research on the neverending technical issues besetting the F35. Even the US Dept of Defense have refused to take delivery of about 100 of them due to unresolved hardware and software issues. They are now parked at Lockheed Martin facility. F35 is a just an overpriced, overhyped and unreliable jet. J10C is a better for value and more reliable jet.
3
Paid actors. Dime a dozen.
3
Sure go ahead and buy Boeing then. Just make sure all the nuts and bolts are securely tightened.
3
@NickAndTech So you are saying China is no threat at all and US have absolutely nothing to worry. Japan is safe. They don't really need any of their military bases in Guam, Phillippines, Diego Garcia or Okinawa, to check on China. China is a Temu tiger like you said. They should also redeploy their Pacific fleet from SCS to the Red Sea to deal with the troublesome Houthis. Am I right? I will wait for your response.

President Xi is now in Peru to open the largest deepsea port in Latin America. This means imports and exports to and from Latin America to Asia do not have to go through Los Angeles port in US anymore. The time taken to reach the Chinese ports have been reduced by 12 days. This port will act as a gateway that connects land and sea between Asia and Latin America. A huge opportunity for them, especially Peru in terms of trade and jobs. Meanwhile people here on the comment section have no clue what's going on or what they are talking about.Except to make the usual feel good silly comments.
3
Chill. China has mostly gone cashless. Can't fool me
3
EV penetration in the Chinese market already hit 50%. It is what it is. No power on earth can stop an idea whose time has come : Victor Hugo
3
@animejanai4657 Ford Motors CEO uses a Xiaomi SU7 Max sedan as his daily drive. He loves driving it so much, he's not stopping. His exact words. So what's your point?
3
Nah. Just that Honda lost their business to BYD.
3
Are you kidding? No one will dare to make a knock off of the flying coffin.
3
The market don't agree with your opinion. They have already surpassed Tesla and dominates here in Asean by a wide margin.
3
@jansg405 They have actually superseded US in a few industries like high speed rail. I understand California is still struggling to finish the country's very first hsr line. Way behind schedule and way above budget. They should have asked the Chinese to help.
3
@ronnelacido1711 Amazing there are people still talking about this low tech ballpoint pen thing when China has already launched their own space station, landed their rover on Mars and built 43thousand km of high speed rail network. As examples.
3
Nah. It's means "Up Yours". It's probably directed at Washington. Not the consumers.
3
I was in Wangfujing shopping district at the start of 2024. The place was packed with shoppers celebrating the new year. Always question everything you see.
3
So you are saying US has nothing to fear. China is no threat. They are super weak. Taiwan is safe. US should focus on Ukraine and Gaza instead. No need for any military bases or their naval fleet in SCS. Better take their Navy and deal with the Iranians and the Houthis in the Red Sea.
3
@berkeliumk Do you know many Americans can't locate USA on the world map? I am not kidding.
3
This channel must think we are all idiots.
3
@ChangYu-wi4ez Just came back home with a group of fellow travellers to China. We took advantage of the 15 days visa free entry. Great experience. A little warm though with summer coming to an end. Next trip probably next year during autumn. Apparently that's the best season to visit.
3
@Spark-Hole Nobody buys their cars here. Only their fridge.
3
Not true. It actually stands for Jaw-dropping!!
3
They didn't waste billions in endless wars for sure. Like some superpower we know.
3
Ask Norway why 90% of their car sales are evs. They have very cold winters.
3
Nah. It's the other way around. Byd fear theirs will be damaged by a weak and declining brand. German automakers are in big big trouble. VW is closing their factories for the first time in their history. Audi is closing their plant in Belgium and Nio might buy over.
3
@PaulGregory-y9t Used to, but ICE tech glory days are over. Now it's BYD ev tech era. Move over old man Mercedes. You are finished dinosaur.
3
@katrine-pearls True. All these Mercedes no one will be buying. Especially after one of their evs caused a huge fire in SKorea and destroyed 140 cars parked in the basement. Byd us smart to get rid of them.
3
Only a simpleton will believe this to be true.
3
They can build and launch their own space station within a decade after being banned from ISS. And you are going on with this ballpoint pen joke? You must not be too bright.
3
@Dane-o7q Not Chinese evs. They are not available in US.
3
American junk food has no place in the rich Chinese culinary culture. Over here there's a mass boycott of McD and Starbucks.
3
So you are saying everything is collapsing in China. Even their sky is falling. But their latest trade figures show their exports for first 4 months of 2024 have gone up 5.7% as compared same month last year. Their trade surplus with the US for first 5 months of 2024 amounted to 128 billion dollars. Despite trade tensions and sanctions. So business in China is actually doing alright.
3
@seulbilee1025 Pagpag you mean
3
As fake as it can get. Only the intellectually challenged will believe this is true. Question everything you see on this channel. Full of crap content.
3
@geocam2 Will they accept 2 dollar an hour rate?
3
@mikestewart4752 They know what they ate doing. Cheaper and more reliable. F35 prone to crashing. 60% of the squadron spent more time on the ground than in the air due to various technical problems. Overpriced, overhyped and unreliable. Do you know even their own Dept of Defense refused to take delivery of the 100 that they ordered due to many unresolved issues. They are now parked at Lockheed Martin facility. J10C is a better bet.
3
Not true. Here in Asean especially Thailand , they dominate. BYD is at the top by a wide margin. Chinese evs are everywhere niw when there was none a little over a year ago.
3
Argentina is a basketcase on IMF life support.
3
This is BS. There are many ev taxis running around Shenzhen since 2017. Many of them have clocked up hundreds of thousands of km in mileage without having to change their original batteries. Just giving one example.
3
Whats in a name. Good. Support your own home made brands. Even a foreigner like Ford Motors CEO owns and drives a Xiaomi SU7 Max, rather than his own models.
3
Nah. This guy lied and paid dirt cheap , thinking he got a good deal buying the original Unitree product. Next time, he should go to an authorized dealer. Not some back alley outlet .
3
90% exaggeration
3
Never heard of this Chinese airline. So don't matter whether they go broke or not. Always fly with China Eastern Airlines.
3
Never heard of this airline. Maybe Boeing might be interested. To replace their accident prone 737s
