  2. The issue is that a US ship will never go into battle against an enemy navy alone. The US doctrine still mostly focuses on fleets of ships (occasionally, a US ship will sail alone, but that's the exception,rather than the rule)

  5. That's not correct. Germany was the number 1 user of foreign weapons in WWII. They used huge numbers of captured weapons. By 1945, they were issuing Volkssturm rifles from before WWI. And even some Fallout 4 style weapons

  19. I'm glad to see some actual truth and criticism of the Leopard. Many people just think "Superior German Engineering" so it must be the best tank to ever grace the planet! When reality is not so. The Germans have also been less than honest about their tank. When the US conducted trials to see if they should adopt the Abrams or the Leopard, they found out the Germans had lied about the weight and armor thickness of the Leopard.

  20. I love to see collaborations between my favorite YouTubers! I have to agree with Binkov on Russian troop numbers. Personally, I think Russia has lied about most of its numbers. I don't think they have the equipment to arm more soldiers, which is why they avoid mass-mobilization. Russia has said they have something like 3,000-4,000 T-72 tanks, yet we're already witnessing them using T-62/T-64's. I think certain Russian cultural phenomenon like "Vranyo" is just too detrimental to them

  21. Not true at all. You have to keep in mind that most of the time, it is a small metal jet of liquid metal that penetrates the vehicle. This may injure the crew or leave them completely unharmed.

  24. The US's isolated geography almost guarantees that no nation will invade the USA. Invading and conquering the US (physically half-a-world away from Africa, Asia and Europe) would provide no benefit for any nation. If nations want to attack the US to weaken it or cause fear, they have to cross an ocean from east or west. That means dealing with the US Navy and/or Air Force. It makes no sense for the US to have any substantial defenses in the 21st Century, This isn't 1812 anymore where the US is bordering an empire. The US spends most of its defense budget on aggressive weapons, its navy and air force, because 1) offense is better than defense and 2) the Navy and Air Force are the first line of defense for the USA.

  25. Aircraft were expendable in WWII, but aircraft carriers were not. They took a long time to build and the US victory at Midway was so important because the Japanese lost 4 carriers of the 5 or 6 they had total. The US became the dominant force in the Pacific after that

Russia didn't exist then), liberate South Korea, Japan, the Philippines, Burma, North Africa, Austria, West Germany, France, the Netherlands, Denmark, Italy, Belgium, Luxembourg, or the all the Pacific islands? Never. How many German, Italian and Japanese ships and submarines did the USSR have to fight to get to Germany, Italy or Japan?? None.

  34.  @thelieutenant7732  The only reason I asked is because I wouldn't assume that the outer layer of any modern tank would be pure steel. I would assume all modern tanks use composite armor. So I find it odd that it would be stated Chinese tanks have just steel side armor.

  42. @Ural Motorcyclist The USA joined the war in 1941. There were American soldiers in North Africa, the Atlantic, Burma, China, the Philippines, India, the Pacific and many more places. The USA did 50% if not more of the war effort

Even the AK-12, which was adopted to replace the AKM in 2014, is still not fully adopted by the Russian MoD in 2023. It's only seen limited action in Ukraine. The Armata T-14, the SU-57, the VPK-7829 Bumerang IFV still hasn't entered full-scale production. The list of brand new weapons and vehicles Russia has come out with is endless, but the amount that have begun mass production are miniscule.
