@AlbinosaurusR3X that's a job I'd want to be as absolutely non-customer facing as possible. Like me, I run a water utility, if I see a customer it means the end of the world, I'm either at their house to turn their water off or notify them of a catastrophe. Ideally we utility workers want to be completely ignored, we don't get thought about unless something isn't working.

But then the lawsuits hit and all local troops were disbanded. My local scoot troop was sponsored by my Elks Lodge, but once the lawsuits started Elks Grand Lodge said nationwide no lodge can be associated with BSA in any way, they can't even use our hall anymore as a location, because the idea of any pedo lawsuit stink getting near the BPOE is too much risk, nope, jettison tons of kids nationwide. It's been a major hit, for our local troop it was like being an MLB team and getting kicked out of your stadium. They have nowhere to go.

@benjaminsmith3843 as someone who owns multiple buildings spread across 100 acres, campus is too kiddy. I have a compound, I have a site, I have an installation, a base. Anything but a campus, some dinky school. No one wants to visit a campus, but people love going to your compound or base...

That's most men today, our issues are not cared about, so why care yourself? We don't. In fact many are cheering the collapse because it would be an improvement to them. There's merit to the SCOTUS idea of incentivizing pedo murder like stated. We had this issue with the drug war. Before, getting caught dealing drugs was no big deal, 5-10 years, no reason to murder anyone...but they changed it to mandatory life in prison, suddenly you had incentive to leave no witnesses, since drug dealing was the same penalty as murder, why not just murder anyone who gets in your way, and murder EXPLODED in that era, hundreds of times increases, because WHY NOT? This guy could snitch on me for selling to him, and the penalty is the same as if I kill him so he won't talk, SOLD, bang.

I was adopted at birth, so the man who raised me because my biological father couldn't legally gave me his name, and I'm proud to carry it. Later in life, it's just one more thing that alienates me further from my half-siblings my bio dad had later in life and COULD care for, who took HIS name. But he actually did raise them, so they also deserve to carry his name. Those names used to actually carry the father's name so it was quite obvious, like I'd be Robert Johnson, Robert, the Son of John. It also makes sense in Game of Thrones, having a 'placeholder' surname for bastards, like Snow in the North or Sand in the East. Calling me a bastard is about the only insult that'll get anger from me, because it's the only true one lol.

As I frame it, you can only have power over people you WANT NOTHING FROM. If you don't want anything from anyone, no one can manipulate or coerce you. You can't be corrupted, bribed, seduced. You can't con an honest man, they used to say. It's like not wanting your job, now your boss has no power over you as he has nothing to threaten you with, fire me, do it, and nothing to offer you, a raise? overtime? promotion? I don't want to be here at all, that's not an offer. The less you WANT the more power you HAVE, because the more people you get to tell NO. The more people you tell no, the more yes people you'll attract.

Maybe some advice for us that got the six pack, got the millions, literally have the world, but couldn't get laid with a gun to my head. We need actual help, like go here, do this, say that. Otherwise it's just app and pray.

And we can see the proof of that by looking at other cultures within the same society where that IS happening, such as the Christian and Islamic communities. Let them be, and those men start businesses and families, be pillars of the community, and have large families. @MattOpines oh, so it makes sense why women I know who had a great mother are thriving in marriage? They saw their mother (my mother lol) doing great with my dad the farmer working 18 hours a day, and modeled it, and oh look all my married sisters are in multi-decade successful marriages, they have like 60 years experience between them lol. Also makes sense I'm single at 40 because no women I'd want are worth marriage.
