  3. I had 6 sisters, only sone of 7, the lesson he needs I would have never made it to adulthood without: women lie, dumb men believe them over you, and the tears are always fake. It's absolutely why I'm 41, never married, single for all but 3 years, but wealthy and at peace. I like women, I hate their bullshit and I won't be controlled by it just to bust a nut.

  4. As a man I've come to realize I WANT three things now that I've made it to 40: 1)The Respect of other men 2)The love of a great woman 3)The admiration of my kids from that great woman. I think, nee FEEL that if I could just accomplish those three things, I could be happy-ish. The trick seems to be that they all rest on each other. Without other men respecting me, women can't love you, if they can't love you you get no kids, and those kids can't admire you as their hero did without having them.

  11. The way I see it, I'm 41 years old, I've been completely alone for like 37 of that. I was given up for adoption by my mother. I don't NEED a woman enough to compromise my beliefs for sex. So if she isn't totally on board with me and my beliefs, she can walk, I'm fine with that, I've been fine with that, I expect at this point to be alone forever. I've made peace with that. You're not going to emotionally blackmail or extort me into some hostage situation. I'll just bang my hand or my fleshlight. She needs to offer MORE than that.

  27. My older sister and her husband have a system they described where EITHER of them wants to spend more than $500 on something discretionary, they have a discussion beforehand. Works for them. On the other hand, as a single man it was nice just deciding to buy a motorcycle, so I went to the dealer and paid $8k cash for a motorcycle on a saturday, and a few grand in gear, and I'll do it again.

  32. Hey, if I was not a single man, I wouldn't get cleaned up to just run a quick errand. BUT I am a single man, the right opportunity could happen at any time SO I ALWAYS need to look good. If I already had someone I don't give a F, whatever she'll tolerate is fine with me lol. If I don't need to look good to attract people, I won't. If it's a 'zero chance of meeting anyone whatsoever' trip I'll probably wear yesterdays clothes and maybe not shower, because why not?
