"I knew it, you're going to leave me JUST LIKE HE DID (tears)" I know this because as an adoptee, I have those abandonment issues, so I can see through that lens. You lose someone, or feel left by them, your priority then becomes holding on to the next thing that you perceive could hurt you the same EVEN HARDER, which sadly is a recipe for driving it away.

  48. Here's the question to ask: Why does that son's father let him stay in his home like that? OH, there's no man in the picture, now it makes sense. I was begged by my parents to move back into their home when they hit their 70s. I'm the only son, all my sisters have husbands and businesses and kids, I was just a single guy living alone, so I gave up my career and home and friends and life, and moved back home. My price? I inherited everything. The other siblings don't get the house. Now my widower dad lives with me, until the end.

  49. When I was 20 I expected to be a grandfather by now, at 41. Instead I'm childless and never married. Of course I want a family, it's the sole reason we work and have careers. If I decided I wanted no family I'd checkout of society, and f dealing with women at all, there would be no PURPOSE. Kids are the reward for all the BS you put up with in life, if there's no reward you won't even deal with the BS.
